Anyone know if the fight is being broadcast on a cable station?

Even though it is a "tune-up" fight, I still want to see it.

This fight doesn't deserve to be on TV at all let alone HBO. Pacquiao should be ashamed to fight 3K Battery after he was outpointed on ESPN 109-119 twice and 108-120 by little known Art Simonyan. Kinda pathetic if you as me... :rolleyes:

It was the only fight Murad can get. Whether its 3K battery, or a car salesman in the ring, it's Pac that the people wanna see not the other guy accross the ring (except when its a megafight).

Are you sure it was the only guy he could get or the only guy he wanted to get? I think Merad is affraid of losing his cash cow after his close call with Marquez.

you and mooks can both be right. I'm looking forward after Dec. 11, coz I think this tune-up fight will end up the way most people believe it will. so we can all get to bet on the real Pac fight, whether it be JMM, MAB, or Erik ....

Alls I'm saying is that I would rather see a competitive fight on a $50 PPV undercard instead of a popular fighter beating up some nobody.

Most of Pacquiao's fights were on FREE TV in the Philippines, wherever the fights may have been staged. And so were those of Rolando Navarrette, Dodie Boy Penalosa, Gerry Penalosa... Even many of the fights of Hop, Roy Jones, DLHoya, Tyson, LLewis, etc. were served up for free!

When Filipinos get a boxing champ, they get to watch 'em for FREE on TV-- regardless of the nature and character of the match-- courtesy of some generous corporate sponsors! Fans have often to suffer through loads of ads, though! ;) :)
