quit being media tools. folks, you have a greater chance of being struck by lightning or winning the jackpot. i don't mind the freeway shootings. if, through fear, they encourage people to stop driving like dip****s then all the better 4 me. whatever happened to the good ol' dayz of paintballing pedestrians? now those videotapes were some fuuuuunny ****.

i got arrested on 10/30/2003 for this. i was charged for projectile of a weapon in city limits and aiding and abeting assault with a deadly weapon.

i lucked up, the judge apparently was in a nice mood. i was given a prayer for judgement(if in 3 years i do anything else stupid, these charges come back.) and 24 hours community service. i was even wearing my chute boxe hoodie in the court room. he asked, "what's chute boxe?"
i said, "a mixed martial arts team in brazil."
his reply was, "okay, just making sure it wasn't a paintball gun brand."

The more people that are scared, the less traffic for me. I drive into downtown LA every week, taking the same damn freeways that the shootings happen on. Actually, I got the pleasure to see two of them right after they happened! People who were born and raised in LA aren’t too scared, because this is LA. Usually those who get scared are those whom shouldn’t be in LA in the first place.

LOL. Sometimes, but orange was usually our color. I forgot that we had to give apology letters to all the places that reported us shooting them. The worst one was this redneck filled pool hall that we stopped infront of and shot like 10 times through the front door.

I'd surely have been laid on my back if I had to encounter those guys in person. Actually, I think I never even mailed off the letters.

How can you say the pleasure of seeing them. People are getting killed because some little ****in punks think they are cool, because they know how to pull a trigger. I bet you would fell a little bit diffrent about the shooting if you are some one you loved was shot.

L.A. county is absolute ****. everytime i'm driving to Pave's, i cross the county line on the freeway and IMMEDIATELY the following happens:

-lanes shrink up from 5 to 2
-potholes multiply
-litter flourishes on the side of the freeway
-all signs become illegible do to multiple layers of graffitti
-billboards pop up like weeds
-the sun sets, regardless of time of the day
-smog becomes so thick that you have to turn on yer wipers to wipe off **** sediments from yer window.
-road construction every 4-5 miles

no joke. L.A. is total ****. i go there to say hi to my friends and occassionally hit hollywood. besides that, Orange County dominates L.A. in every field worth dominating.

I've been to Anahiem and Hollywood and took a bus through south central. Anahiem is a nice clean place, as for the rest of it I don't think I'd ever go back. That place doesn't have anything that interests me.

You cant down a person for being loyal to where they live. I myself live in LA County and Have stayed in both San Diego and Orange County. Yes the OC and SD are much nicer than LA but hey thats our problem. I have to agree with MCM SD is the best of the

I'm not downing her just asking a question. But for the record I think it's pretty stupid to be "loyal" to a place that offers nothing but violence. Most of the people down in L.A are territorial animals. Not saying that any of the posters here are that, but I just think alot of the time people are "loyal" to where they live when there are many places that could offer them so much more.

Yes but the odds of you encountering a deadly situation are alot higher in some places than others.

I live on Vancouver Island in B.C at the moment. I've spent a fair amount of time in big citys around the world though.

Yes but there are statistics regarding shootings, murders, etc that show L.A is worse, you can't deny that L.A is more violent then most other places in america. I bet Detroit, Miami, and New York are the only other city's in america that might have more shootings and crimes etc. I'm not American but I know that some parts of L.A particularly south central is really ****ed up.

Here is the thing that most of you seem to be missing. Economical situations and demographics will determine what kind of enviroment a particular area will have.

Yes, **** happens everywhere. But at different rates. I would love to live in California, will I do it (NO!!!!). why you ask? Because my current economical situation does not permit me to live the way I do here in Florida, in California. I know this for a fact since I've done my home work for cost of living in real estate, food, gas, and just your average stuff. Not only that the PER-CAPITA crime rate is 5 times higher in the areas that I would be able to live than the area that I live now.

So yes some areas are more prone to crime than others, and that is a fact that you can not argue. If you are confortable living in a particular area of town, that is fine and there is nothing wrong with that. But, if I can help my peace of mind and conforts of lifestyle, by living in a different location you bet your ass that I will make what I have to do to do so.
