Byrd barely beat McCline. Everyone beats Golota. He got beat down by Wlad. And Ruiz beat Oquendo far more decisively than Byrd did.

I was just showing that Bryd has had some pretty good fights. some one said that he has never been to war in the ring i disagree with that. the fights i mentioned where pretty good, that was my point, not who won the fight.

i can't disagree with that. he owned byrd in there fight, i'm sure he would have ko'd ruiz. don't know how his chin is but i think he could have had a great fight with brewster. maybe win on points unless brewster is able to land late. Ike and VK would be a great fight.

It sucks (for boxing--maybe he deserves to be in there, though) that Ibeabuchi's in prison. What's he in for? Guys usually get meaner in there, so if he gets out before he gets old, look out heavyweight div. It's kind of a shame that a once great and entertaining division is marred so badly that Mike Tyson still has a shot at a belt (and I agree with Bad I's: do not count Iron Mike out, even at 39 he only needs to land one u'cut on some of these guys to end a fight). Right now the only guy I can bring myself to root for is VitalyK.

Well I admit the Byrd-McCline fight was entertaining, especially since they are good friends and the fight was pretty close. And McCline much bigger than Byrd. I thought Byrd would lose, I was wrong.

That's what I was going to say, that all Ruiz needs to do is get to round 4 and Tyson begins to lose his mental fortitude. That's Tyson's biggest weakness...he is easily frustrated when the fight drags on. He doesn't have the strength of mind for this sport. Nobody should underestimate Tyson KO power but he isn't what he used to be and hasn't been for a decade now.

Tyson needs to quit losing to weak fighters and beat someone good before I can take him seriously again. And man he's getting old!

Toney could beat Ruiz on his worst day & was in pretty bad shape (fat) when they fought. Steroids don't make u fat do they? From what I'm hearing Toney's doctor has even said the positive test came from prescribed meds he was taking to help heal his torn biceps ( common medically for muscle injuries). Rules are rules & he did test positive, but don't you think if the commission thought he was abusing this for physical benefit that they would have did more than a 90 day fine & 10,000 fine.
