Earl-Lesnar 02-07-2010, 05:53 PM No offence, but I haven't heard of a single one of these "all stars"

I haven't heard of a single player playing into todays Superbowl either. That's because I don't follow NFL.
But if you haven't heard of any of the names in the All start team, It is safe to say you don't follow NRL too closely.

I know Mundine used to be in it, was he any good?

So what? They are All-Stars in Rugby League.
You come out with some pretty retarded **** on a regular basis.

He was a very good footballer in his day.

Give me some examples, if you use the thing in your head called a brain you will discover that most of the time it's sarcasm, you are the one that gets all defensive and serious when someone makes a joke, or takes the piss a bit, you need to learn to relax, and not take the internet deadly serious all the time.

LOL @ taking it serious.
Fair enough if it was sarcasm. Dunno if there was any real point to it though. It wasn't remotely amusing or intelligent.
I couldn't be fuked giving examples to be honest, I just remember reading a few of your posts and thinking it was some retarded ****.
Take it easy anyay, its just the internet, nothing serious.

monaroCountry 02-09-2010, 07:56 PM He was a very good footballer in his day.
Except that he was never good enough to make it into a proper representative teammuch less an All Stars team or Australian team, the closest he got from memory was a reserve in State of Origin. His non selection was one of the major reassons he switched to boxing. He also tried to blame racism for his non selection which was idiotic since several aborigines were selected and the fact that an ex Aborigine rugby player was in the selection panel.

Still, in his prime he was one of the top players in the league. That season when the Dragons should have won the comp, he tore sides apart.
I don't like the guy but there is no getting away from the fact that he was a top, top rugby league player at his best.
Billy Slater and PJ Marsh out of the game.
monaroCountry 02-12-2010, 01:02 AM Mundine was a top player but obviously not good enough or of the calibre of many of those ALL STARS players.
Mundine was definately a showman, much more so than most in rugby.

I would put Mundine up there at that level to be honest.

You definitely can't put Mundine up there with the likes of Laurie Daley and Brad Fittler or Lyons.
Indigenous All Stars winning.
Wendell Sailor using the corner post as a didgeridoo :lol1:

Yeah, I'm not. I'm putting him up there with the guys who played in that game on Saturday night.
It was in response to this comment:

Mundine at his best would definately not have been out of place in that game.
boxing_great 02-15-2010, 07:54 AM yea I agree there.
