....sadly nowadays there are few real rappers left like KRS-One,Nas,and others....i remember 2Pac,Biggie Smalls,Public Enemy,Naughty By Nature,Nas,AZ,KRS-One,NWA,West Side Connection,Snoop Dogg,Rakim etc etc...all these great artists are all a thing of the past nowadays :(....nowadays we have guys like lil wayne running the scene :no:

I'm hearing lil wayne mentioned all the time atm. How big is he in the States? I'm not sure if it's cause I don't listen to the radio but I pretty sure he isn't that popular over here in the UK.

the problem is artists do what people like..i mean sugar babys cover on youtube has more view than run dmc 's version of walk dis way and the new version of listen up from the new album of epmd ft teddy riley(from blackstreet) has something like 180000 views while lollipop has 43 million..so sht epmd were still around as many artists but it's logic anyone would stop doing music in dis situation..like ice cube did.dis is also because noone still buys cds so stars money come from publicity and the music in tiself is publicity.correct me if i'm wrong dat's just my opinion
