How well would Wlad do against Valuev, Brock, and Sam Peters?
Would any of them have a good chance against Wlad?

Valuev - I've never seen him fight. Can't comment

Brock - Lacks ring experience. He showed he can fare well against a big man in the McCline fight, but McCline isn't known for his pop or his overwhelming skill. Wlad would be a test. If his chin could withstand Wlad's power, I would give him a slightly less than even chance

Peter - If he can't get inside, I can't see him winning, so it comes down to chin. I've never seen his chin tested. If he has a good chin and gets inside, it's Wlad's 3rd humiliating KO to a person he should beat handily and pretty much the end of Wlad's career. If it remains a boxing match, Wlad wins easily.

Wlad has lost every single fight against good punchers. This worries me quite a bit. He also tends to pick sparring partners that can't punch. I believe that Wlad can't take a punch and must rely in his boxing skills to win fights.

wlad beats the first 2 if he has solved his stamina problem but in a year or so when peter is more polished he will KO wlad cause you cant cure a bad chin... peter also has very good power

The only heavyweight fight I care about is Wladimir Klitschko V.S. Lamon Brewster in the rematch. Give Wlad his chance to correct his wrongs from the first time around, and maybe give Lamon another chance to prove what he is about. I used to like other heavyweights.....but those two are really the only ones I could give a good god damn about. Lamon is going to smoke Golota...so maybe after that we can see the fight.

Wlad is my fav, and is the boss. He was beat by the most courageous man in the division...primarily because he was having stamina problems at the time. I think the new more mobile Wlad could beat him easily. And even if Brewster lost I would like to see him fight some more. Those two bring excitement to the division more than anyone else.

Toney looked decent against Ruiz and Toney is an exciting fighter....but he will eventually hit a wall, and I dont think he is the heavyweight everyone is claiming him to be. With all due respect to Toney fans.

Wlad against Byrd should happen if Byrd wants to prove something....but im losing respect for that dick because of his lack of courage.

And Wlad could beat all of the forementioned IMO.

Wlad brings excitement to the division? Perhaps if you are using Ruiz as the benchmark or like to see big guys getting knocked down.

In his last 6 fights he's been on his ass 7 times, KOd twice, won a technical decision for a cut against a guy he was beating, but who was also trying to test his stamina and was never hurt by him, all 6 fights against what was supposed to be lesser opposition. Not exactly a thrilling recent resume.

You can't claim he's "back", either. The Cuban never even tried to counterpunch seriously, let alone engage. Not really a test of Wlad's "improved" stamina...

sure does. Big guy who punches hard and showcases his skills.

won a technical decision for a cut against a guy he was beating, ...

One of the better heavyweight fights in recent memory as a matter of fact. a proverbial slugfest.

I know you hate Wlad.....and that is your problem. Why is Tyson exciting? LOL. Because he bombs mufukas.

Good post. Valuev looks decent compared to todays dismal hw division. It would be funny to watch Wlad beat the **** out of that big ass man. Not that I want the big guy hurt, but he's way to slow to **** with Wlad.

um...

ok...

You and I obviously have different ideas of what makes an exciting fighter.

Mine is a fighter with skills (which Wlad has), a punch (which Wlad has), a solid chin (which Wlad doesn't) and who is willing to stand and exchange occasionally (which Wlad is scared of).

For the record, TOS v Wlad was boring as ****. Tos moving out of range most of the fight, Wlad swinging through empty air. The only excitement was when Wlad was put on his ass and the exchange that caused the clash of heads.

I rest my case. Wlad hating at its finest.

I rest my case. Wlad hating at its finest. whatever. calling TOS v Wlad one of the most exciting fights in recent history is a much finer example of nuthuggung than my unbiased opinion is of hating. I have more vested interest in a healthy, strong Wlad who *can* bring excitement to the division than I do in hating him. I've just seen nothing in the past coupla years that shows me he can.

Of course. I never cleared myself of those accusations. All I simply mentioned.....was Wlad was exciting to me. Then you went balls describing how he was not. LOL!

No he hasn't. Jefferson, TOS, and McCline (when he wants to) all have loads of power. Wlad's problem has been against good punchers with great chins; Brewster, Puritty, and Sanders (even though his chin wasn't really tested by Wlad).

I would say Brock has the best chance at beating him. Brock has a damn chin. 90% of heavyweights would have been KO'd by that shot he took from McCline.

I don't think that much of Sam Peter yet; someone should upload his fight on ShoBox vs. Pudar prior to him KO'ing a C-level fighter in Jeremy Williams that created this "he's a monster" myth...

If he can't outbox Valuev, he should stick to working his brother's corner...
