Alright alcholics, I need some help. I want some of this stuff. I've found a few places online that sell it and will ship it here to the US, but I want to make sure I'm getting the real stuff, not the fake ****. I have been told that I just need to make sure it has wormwood in it and not "essence of wormwood". Is this correct?

i recomend spanish absinth, strong, real warmwood and tastes real good.

There is no more real Absinth. Unless you make it yourself (home-made) style. If any of the stuff you are looking at looks like it comes from legit-name brand companies it isn't real.

Although even though its fake it might still be worth trying for a serious alchoholic. The fake stuff tastes like black-licorice and has a powerfull odor (very hard to get down). It does give you a slightly different kind of drunk though. I would compare it to drinking a bottle of Nyquil, and then popping a lot of Advil, adding maybe 1 hit of Marijuana. (If you want this effect you will have to drink alot of it.)

It seems like everyone has a different idea or opinion on it everywhere you go. I just hope to get some or the real stuff so I can decide for myself.

sheep****er should have some good insight. me & albert wanted to get a bunch too. she told me that everytime you order it from the States you have a 50/50 chance of it getting confiscated @ customs.

I have checked with some ********* friends and all of them say that the absinthe sold in websites is f'n caca. And smuggling it through customs is hard, but not impossible.

well my babbinka (cz for grandma) gave me a bottle for christmas, they sell it in cz and spain but the spanish tastes a lot better.

its with warmwood its just less than in the old day, just get some spanish and add more warmwood.

Not entirely true. There is real stuff and you can order it from the Czech republic. That's where the stuff I've had comes from. And yes you can order it online.

That is what I figured. I know you can order it overseas, but the customs thing is a slight problem.

I've Tried Ordering It A While Back And It Was Not A Done Deal It Was Fake **** And Alittle Upsetting Considering The Price You Pay For It And They Tell You It's The Real Thing. me and my mates made friends with these bar tenders in greece. They made their own abisinth, as did most other bars, and well my freind s ordered a couple of shots and i tell you ive never seen them so ****ed. it's a drink for a real man/women who can thier drink.

also if you any of you ever go to india, meet someone who seems to like their drink and ask about DESI. it has a reputation beyond repute and GUARNTEED to **** you up.

I drive to the Czech Republic once or twice a year to buy cheap cigarettes and absinth. The one I usually get is called "Absinthium 1792". If you can get this one you should be fine.
