Do you think Holyfield should have retired a long time ago? Explain Why

Yes, because he was a great heavyweight with an EXTREMELY impressive and legendary career. There is no need for him to keep losing and risk becoming another ali.

Holyfield should have definitely quit after the Toney fight as it was obvious that he had nothing left but heart in that fight and after his recent tear-jerker of a performance that was even more apparent. I do think if he would have retired a few years earlier before the Pooiz saga he probably would have been a little less worse for wear.

Come to think of it Holy hasn't been the same since the second Moorer fight, I think that was the last time he gave a seriously dominating performance.

i think holyfield should have retired when his language was understandable. i cant wait for him to be a special guest on espn, id like to see the announcers field his responces.

I imagine they'll have a bit of difficulty discerning what mumble means what...

it is obvious that holyfield should retire. out of his last eight fights he has lost six. if anyone still thinks he can win a belt they are dreaming. if anything he is killing his legacy. if he keeps this up people are not going to remember his great moments, but only that he did not know when to hang em up.

holyfields last fight should of been after the draw with lewis cause you could tell he was not the same boxer after that
