Wlad wont be involved in ****, the winner of the golota/lamon fight will probably fight Ruiz or the winner of Toney/Byrd. As well with winner of Rahman/Barrett or Klitschko.

All I'm saying is that as soon as anyone on these boards praises a heavyweight fighter, or people start talking about championship belts, some Wlad fan has to pipe in and say that 1) Wlad deserves a shot; 2) the prospect couldn't beat Wlad; 3) Wlad is being ducked; 4) If you don't think Wlad is the best heavyweight you must be a hater or 5)Wlad was poisoned by the bigots against Brewster, COrrie Sanders is He-Man, and Wlad's corner blew it vs. Purrity

This is gonna be a hard fight for Toney because Byrd moves on his feet alot better than Toney and he is taller than Toney, and both of them are defensive fighters. Toney always has had trouble against defensive boxers, like Montell Griffen. I think Toney will win though because he has faster hands and alot more pop in his punches than Byrd. Byrd is a smart fighter but Toney is smarter. If Toney gets to fight Byrd on the inside Toney will maul him to an easy UD PTS or stoppage. Toney has to come forward against Byrd and keep the action on the inside. Byrd will do his best to stay at distance of Toney, but I think Toney will find a way to work his way in and he will own Byrd on the inside. If Toney lands some of those big rights on Byrd, Byrd might go down. But Byrd showed a good chin against Wladimir Klistchko, Vitali Klistchko, Jameel McCline, and Golota.

Byrd has a good chin but Toney has a concrete chin, and a concrete body too, Byrd can be hurt to the body you saw that against Golota and Toney is a pretty vicious body puncher, that might become a factor in the fight.

Byrd has a height advantage but i never been a fan of Chris Byrd.The guy is scare to slug it out.I think Toney will win this fight.

im not a big wlad fan, im a vitlai nut hugger, but byrd ducked wlad and he was drugged vs brewster, and he will get a title shot and since vitali sint fighting till september and the winner of brew/golota has to fight the winner of whitaker/kranqi. maybe wald or peter will get a shot at toney/byrd. thats all i was saying.

If Byrd beats Toney, he'll have the WBA and IBF belts, a win over WBC champ Vitali Klitchko - and because of the whole WBA/WBO mess where you can't simultaneously hold both belts (unless you're a "Super" WBA champ like Hopkins), that's as true of a heavyweight champion as we've had since Lewis.

Like a previous poster said, Vitali needs to be a defending champion against top contenders. Carefully choosing ranked fatasses who don't move and fighting them once per year is not endearing him to the non-nuthugging boxing fan...

Toney is a patient fighter, with fast hands. With his style I believe Toney will to be able to disrupt Byrd’s rhythm, like Ibeabuchi did. Toney will win on points or a late round KO.
