Just 5 days left for the mega fight between Trinidad - Wright...

I made this thread so we can say who are we rooting for and how we think its gonna go...and for some post fight comments..

I'll be rooting for my man Tito and I believe he'll KO/TKO Winky within 10 rnds...

Let's try to keep it clean with no racist BS...If someone post any racist bs just ignore him/her...

Im rooting for Tito just because it is a wbc elimination and that will lead to Hopkins or Taylor.


But the fight will be a one sided beating put on by Tito or a boxing lesson by Winky.

Of course I have to go with my fellow Boriqua, and root for Tito. I donk know enought about Winky to even pretend to have an interesting conversation, but I do know that every thing I read says it will be a tough one for Tito, because of all of Winky's lateral movement.

Winky was lethargic for the 2nd Mosley fight, he isnt as good as his last fight and thats how I will remember him.

I've been weighing out the fight in my mind for some time now. And ultimately think Tito will win. The reason is because even though I have much respect for Winky as a tough fighter and overachiever he lacks the elusiveness to make Tito miss consistantly. He definately has hand speed but not so much defensive savy that a fighter needs when facing a power hitter like Tito. Wright was wobbled by Suga Shane and catching a left hook from Trinidad won't be a walk in the park. We just have to see how it turns out. I just think Winky doesn't have enough power to keep Tito honest and off of him and will succomb from a multitude of power shots. Tito TKO in round 11.

i'm rooting for winky. with a little luck and being a slick intelligent lefty i can see a winky SD. trinidads comeback fight against macho stand in front of you slow mayorga proved he still has it together but he's going to have to box now. if winkys successfull in neutralizing trinidads power he's got a good chance of out pointing him. and winky has a little head. on the other hand trinidads left hook against a lefty is more than dangerous and may come into play more than his destroying right.winky could make this a booring fight.

I was thinking the same thing about the titties. Why is the right one so much lower than her left one? I want Trinidad to win. Only because boxing is becoming a fringe sport and needs as much entertainment value in its fights as possible right now.

I doubt that Lacy is really "cracking" Winky in a sparring sec...and IMO Lacy's power is way overrated...he just looks huge..

LMFAO. he is arguably one of the hardest punchers in the sport without question. How in the hell can you say that.........when he stopped Syd Vanderpool, who is a fuking tank? Nobody else could.

Tito Trindad by stoppage in the 8th round. Winky will win alot of the early rounds with his slick boxing skills. But Tito will start to figure out Winky later in the fight around round 6. Tito will land one huge punch on Winky in the 8th round and backing him against the ropes and Tito will unleash a bruatlic flurry prompting the referee to stop the fight.

I'm really hoping this one is textbook Tito: Winky knocks him down in 1, twice in 2, but then the lights go on and Tito's hands cut loose. A sustained attack takes Wright down 3 times between the 4th-5th.

I can't pick a winner. But I do agree with others that it will probably be a tactical points win for Wright or a punch fest ko for Trinidad.

tito is powerful and knock out anybody in his division... but i have not seen winky fight yet so i won't jump into conclusions... his record says he can beat tito and take his shots but i really don't know his style... what's the most significant fight for winky prior to this fight???

I'm picking Wright by decision. Looking at the Mosely fights leads me to believe that Tito is going to be getting hit A LOT...and in return will be hitting a lot of glove and elbow. Winky better guard his body though...Shane landed some good body shots and Tito's will defnitely hurt a lot more.

I really don't know about this one. I keep changing my mind. I think it all depends on whether or not Trinidad can get his shots to connect. He can go in and take whatever Winky will throw at him, I believe, but whether can give enough back so he doesn't lose rounds is still uncertain, at least in my mind.

I'll take Trinidad based purely on work ethic. No matter what Winky still takes rounds off.

Man, I just got finished watching the Mayorga/Trinidad fight. Mayorga landed all too regularly and cleanly with his telegraphed looping right hands til the end of the fight ....

... how can Winky miss him with his straight, crisp right jabs?

That's gonna be an ongoing problem for Tito in that fight. He seemed to either not see em or just reacted too slow to avoid em.

i think Winky could win if he boxes his ass off, but i dont see it happening.

its his first pay per view fight, and i can definitely see him trying to box around tito for the first few rounds, getting an early lead, only to get booed like crazy by the crowd for making it a boring fight.

then the pressure kicks in, he starts to get more aggressive to make a good impression on the crowd with his first pay per view, and tito eventually gets him out of there.
