i know that mayweather beat him very very decisively knocked him down five times . i don't want to make excuses for chico but he was about to go to jail for a year . anybody that knows boxing knows that it is 90 % mental if you are not their mentally you are very likely to loose on that night and i am sure chico was not mentally ready . also chico style is alot better since having goosen training him he is 3-0 with wins over casamayor,freitas,and castillo who gave mayweather all he could handle in their first fight. mayweather's speed would still give chico trouble. but if he takes the fight to mayweather he has the power ot k.o him right now corrale's confidence is at an all time high right now and i can see him beating anyone from 140 down except for tzyu because of the power .

They kind've "run" from you while pot-shotting and usually end up with the decision. Corrales should just stay away from him. All the best fighters do. Pretty Boy just ain't "great fight" material.

Chico has too much at stake to risk it for someone who never goes toe-to-toe. Don't get me wrong, Mayweather is a purist's dream. But if he brawled with someone like Chico he would be easily Ko'd. But he would never do that and that is why he is fighting Gatti, who even Floyd said was a C level fighter and a bum. He basically made this argument with his own words.

If you think about it, they are very much similar. Neither have overwhelming power and use their speed and agility to stay away from harm. It's common sense. I'm not hating on him for doing it, it works for him. I'm just saying that Corrales should not even risk his career. I'm more of a fighting fan, not a "who can stay away from the other fighter the most" fan. Sorry if that hurts your feelings.

Yeah, that's all I'm trying to say. And it's almost 100% guaranteed that Maweather would never go toe-to-toe with Chico like Castillo did. This is why Chico should just not fight him again. Why would you want to lose because someone else can move around the ring faster?

I agree, maybe it would be a little closer but Mayweather would still dominate because he is too quick and alusive for Corrales.
