Anyone know if this fight is locked?

Mick should beat up the guy who fought at featherweight not all that long ago. Still hope he'll take on the winner of Demarco-Valero.

Well now that Danny Green was outwitted in bidding for the Hopkins fight, anyone know who he's taking on?

The local scene is pretty effin dead.

dont know if its all signed and sealed yet
i think this will be a very good fight. katsidis should wear him down and prove too strong, but he will get hit with plenty by guerrero who i think is a very good little fighter.im just not sure if he will have the power at lightweight to hurt katsidis and keep him off him (kats has gotta be one of the most trelentless fighters going around) but if he does it could be a long night for katsidis

What's the go with Green fighting Briggsy now as well? Didn't Briggs retire for medical reasons? He hasn't fought in a few years and jumping in with a red-hot Danny Green mightn't be the best idea.

Guerrero has withdrawn from this fight. I get the feeling Katsidis will rematch Juan Diaz now which is a shame, I think Diaz will probably defeat him again.

Winner of that will most likely be matched against Amir Khan IMO.

Still, you gotta hand it to Mick for going after the rematch. He is a credit to Aussie boxing.

He is and if he had a decent trainer he might even be able to beat him. Kats just needs to spend sometime with some top trainers like Roach and I'm sure the improvement would be massive.

I agree, although I give him a shot at beating Diaz anyway. Diaz isn't at the level he was when he first beat Kat and Kat fought a fairly unintelligent fight first time round. If Mick goes in there intent on brawling he has a pretty decent chance I think.

I think Katsidis would've beaten Guerrero, and I'd give him a good at beating Juan Diaz in a rematch.

As you guys have said above, his corner got it wrong the first time around. Hopefully they'll learn from that, though if I was Katsidis I'd be looking for a new trainer.

So do I, He needs to fight like his old self to beat Diaz.
