This is only for the boxers on Boxing Scene.

1: Are you afraid to step in the ring, thinking that later in life you might suffer from a disease that is caused by taking blows to the head like many boxers?

2: What motivates you to box?

1.No.

2. Being bullied as a kid, I always hated it. Family is also struggling for money, and is breaking apart. All other sports fall by the wayside compared to boxing. I truly enjoy the training and the people and want to make a living out of it someday. Only the Omnipotent will decide how far the sport can take me.

1. No, im scared of losing though. not scared of getting an asswhuppin but scared of having my pride hurt.

2. i just love the sport and want to be a part of it. in addition to the enjoyment i fight for self respect. i have self respect, but that ultimate form of self respect, being really really proud of yourself. my rolemodels were always fighter and i wanna be like them. there are really a million reasons though, thats just some examples real quick..

1. nope... i wouldnt be suprised if more people left the game without any permanant damage

2. when u love something u dont have a choice but to put 100% in it... i feel like i can suprise even myself on how far i go in this game... every bout i had win or lose i proved everyone wrong and i love being in that ring! i guess that what motivates me

1. I am sometimes afraid of not performing to my fullest. I'm not afraid of the person standing across from me, I'm just always worried that I might not live up to everything I want to accomplish as an athlete day by day

2. I grew up idolizing fighters and rockstars and I don't sing or play any instruments- so I figured I would become a boxer. As a kid I had a single father who was really tough on me and called me a lot of names. One day when I was 16 I cooked his steak wrong and he started yelling and swearing and by then I was lifting weights daily, so I lost it and stood up ready to fight. I got kicked out, did some labor jobs and became ice cold towards people I didn't know and started street fighting and learning jiu jitsu. Jiu Jitsu wouldn't work if I was outnumbered in a fight so I chose boxing.

P.S Me and my old man are fine now, and I my life has changed completely.
