Does anyone know how to track an AOL IP address? I need to know because we're getting harassed again. By those same kids that were doing it months ago. I guess they have no life.

Good! He or the other one started harassing me again last night, this time with vulgar language. It under that first name I gave you. I so wish I could be the one to do it...

We're going to try and find a program that helps us track who they are by their IP address and then file charges. I still have all the other paperwork and such from when this crap first started last Nov.

IT's annoying the hell out of me and I know it shouldn't, but it is. I'm ready to change my AOL name.

Charges are lame. Seriously, I have harassed many hundreds of people online in my life and if any one of them tried to file charges on me it wouldn't just be online harassment they would be getting. I'd start slashing tires and killing pets.

Long story made short.

Ashes is on the flag team at school.
A previous member quit and wanted to come back. Administration told her no.
She blamed Ashes. She and two others, who quit the team in protest, proceeded to harass her and me for 3 months. It came to a head when Ashes posted on her myspace.com journal to one of the girls (without using her name, but she knew it was for her) that "the reason you don't confront me to my face is because you know I can kick your fat ass" (my daughter's words) and the girl walked up to her and verbally threatened her on school grounds. Ashes filed harassment charges and the administration got involved and so did the cops. The cops scared the crap out of the one girl and then a mediation meeting was held and they admitted in front of admin. that they weren't mad at Ashes, they just used her as a scapegoat. The End.

Or so we thought. The harassment has started up again. The more we ignore it or even answer to it, the worse it gets. Someone needs to knock these two brats on their ass. So I need to find out for sure that it's them (which I know, but need proof) and take care of it once and for all.

And yes, that was the shortened version.

I'll do it the legal way first. It's been more than online harassment.

You know what is really sad? Ashes and the boy were good friends for a number of years. It's hurt her deeply that he has treated her so bad, but he's done it to others too. Alot of the kids don't know what has happened to him....such a shame.

No one seems to know. It's as if he changed overnight. He's just not the nice kid we once all knew. We've met his evil twin....

i'd murder someone and their entire family if my computer got ceased due to online harassment charges. actually, i'd probably remain under police custody without bail and serve a 20 year sentence if they showed up to cease my computer.

LOL...this is more than just online harassment. But whatever. Unfortunately, the know where I live, etc. I would rather just take care of it myself, but I can't do that and live with myself. It's called a moral conscience.

Dammit...I was afraid of that. It's my trademark name. I would really like to :boxing: those brats. Blocking them each time they change their name is getting old.

Almost no one gets in trouble for anything on AOL.

Sometimes they subpeona websites to contact info. for spammers. They last did it to mtree.com and arrested about 25 people. Microsoft sued Levon Gillespie for providing BP hosting to a lot of those people that was hosted on trojaned computers.

They've arrested a few of their KO(Kids Only) chatroom hosts for trying to meet them offline.
