Kris Kristopherson is a great guy. Smokey Robinson is cool. B.B. King had us over to his home in Vegas. Lots of others. Met a lot of the old time R&R legends when I played with The Platters...some names you would recognise others you might not.
I grew up in the same greater Cincy town as former Celtics all-star center Dave Cowens and have had a beer or three with him.

It was back in the day when I was but a wee lad. The first time I don't really remember but the second time was in 91' not too long before he fought Nunn. I shook his hand he introduced himself. He and a bunch of other guys just sat there and cracked me up. He said that one day he'd be HW champion of the world. Very nice guy in all honesty. That's why I always support him when he's taking heat on this site. He told me that I'd need to bulk up if I ever wanted to box. :D

My uncle was a Musician for el grupo Venus which was famous in Mexico particularly in Michoacan. Personally i didnt like their Music but he was a good uncle when he was around.

I am sure that you have heard some of the hits if only the versions re-done for commercials or films.
The original hits were done a LONG time ago. Ask your mother (or in some cases your grandmothers) about "Only You, The Great Pretender, My Prayer, Twilight Time........a bunch of others but those are the most well known.

I had a FEW beers with SRL and his bodyguard in Lake Tahoe when we played Harrah's once. I didn't list him because that hardly made us "friends". I DID get him to admit that he didn't want to fight Pryor though. To be exact, I asked him why it didn't come off and he laughed and asked me if I would want to get in the ring with Aaron.

as far as meeting people i have

hung out with ministry, body count, sepultera, and helmet at the same time. a friend of mine was the lead singer for helmets drummers old band so we got to hang out with all those guys when they came to town for a concert. Alien Jourgensen and ice t were cool as hell.

when i was younger i grew up in the L.A. area. my dad worked for consolidated film industries splicing film. he had coffee breaks with jim backus and we all went to his mansion for dinner a few times. my dad and i went deep sea fishing with him as well.

my uncle used to be a mechanic for universal studios and worked on the K.I.T.T cars from knight rider. we went down and i got to ride in one of the K.I.T.T cars with david David Hasselhoff for my birthday.

one of my other uncles owns a security business that provides protection for many hollywood stars. through him i have met sly stallone, kevin spacy, steven spilberg, Barbara Eden, carrie fisher, and tom selleck

I met Krist Novacelic from Nirvana. Good lad, He's like 6'8.

My dad met McCline, Holyfield, Golota, Ruiz, Rahman, Meehan, Donald, and of course Don King ;) at the weigh ins/photo shoot for "Struggle for Supremacy". His scaled company made the scale that all the boxers weighed themselves on, so he got to meet them before the press arrived. I got free tickets through that. Attatched are photos of all the fighters and don king on the scale, and My dad, his friend, and don king on the scale.
