lol did tony weeks think corrales couldnt speak english? he kept talking to him in spanish..weeks is a very good ref he's even bilingual..which is a plus..most of the time you see these refs that speak in english to fighters that dont know what the heck their saying..like that one ref when mayorga faught spinks

Voted that 147 is his max. But he should stay at 135 and just try to dominate the light weight division and pick off the super featherweights as they come as challengers.

Corrales should get the big money fights in mayweather, cotto, gatti, hatton, harris, tszyu, etc.

For one thing 135 pounds lightweight is one of the premier divisions, one of the 7 original weight classes. Duran made his name just by dominating the lightweight division for a long period of time Corrales should do the same thing that Duran did at light weight and Hopkins does at middleweight.

There is no way Corrales would beat Floyd at 140 or any other weight. Corrales may have beat Castillo, but lets not get ahead of yourself. In a rematch, Floyd would beat Corrales convincingly.

agreed but as always corrales has a punchers chance..I'd just like to see it again so there are no excuses of corrales draining himself to make 130...it will be at 140 where corrales power is much greater then floyds...but mayweather would still win i believe

i see corrales more powerfull then anyone up to 147. especially on the inside.tszu has power but his 5'7 heighth and 67" reach would give corrales the edge. cotto is unproven to me yet. hope corrales can learn to use his heighth and reach advantage. he's getting better every fight. he fought castillo's fight and his now unquestionable chin helped him win. can't wait for a *****mouth floyd rematch. corrales will have him running scared.

As much as Corrales is game, its hard for me to pick against Kostya if they fought,he always finds a way to land that big right hand.Although i will admit that i wouldnt be surprise if he won, he has showned some whiskers, u had to be impress last night with some bombs he took until it eventually caught up to him in the 10th.

man i really think you cant use their last fight as a reference.corrales was handicapped and was loosing the fight before he got into the ring. he knew he was going to prison and the paycheck for that fight was court ordered to go to his wife/girlfriend. the next time around it will be on level playing field. yes floyd could out box him. but corrales is getting better every fight. and has more power. we will see hopefully.

Dude probably has 140 power, but unfortunately has a 130 chin. I don't think he should go too far up in weight, though I would watch him fight anywhere, anytime, any weight if I could...

You're wrong. Floyd still has the same speed and defensive prowess at 140. Plus, Corrales has trouble hitting moving targets. He would get frustrated and lose his cool. Also, Corrales was in his prime when he fought Floyd at 130. Floyd would make easy work of him at any weight.

I'd pick Mayweather to beat Corrales again. Corrales looked WAY impressive last night bcuz everyone saw that Chico's punches are lethal.Let's be realistic though, Mayweather aint Castillo who will go forward constantly towars Corrales. He's speed and agility is difficult to overcome fo Chico.

Don't let Corrales's victory of Castillo cloud your judgement. Corrales is the same fighter he was at 130. Floyd would not make a mistake against Corrales. Remember, in his last 9 fights, Corrales has been floored 10 times, five of which was by Floyd. Perhaps, if you pray to God long enough, your fantasy may become reality. :D
