Jermaine Taylor and Ricky Hatton will be facing the KINGS of their division. In your opinion which one has a better chance of beating their "KING" come fight night and why?

I thin Taylor will have a better chance of beatin Hopkins than Hatton will have of beating Tszyu. Since Hopkins aint getting any younger and Taylor being the stronger he has a chance. Though Hopkins is a wise cat and his experience may get him by through a UD. Yet i see Tszyu being to hard for Hatton to handle. Hatton aint yet faced an opponent with as near as the quality which Tszyu posseses, So i see Tszyu winnig by Ko in later rounds.

my head says neither of them will win but my heart wants to say that Hatton has the better chance. Zoo is a worldclass fighter but 2/3 rounds in two years is not good, so hatton has to capatalise on this if he has any chance of winning. Hopkins is gonna win, end of.

I feel Taylor has an excellent shot at beating Hopkins, better than Hatton beating KT. My reasoning is because KT, even though he is aging, still possesses great power and is knocking his opponents out. Hopkins, on the other hand, is winning but he does so on the cards using his agility and his intellect. Jermain Taylor is just as agile and if he fights as smart as Hopkins, could win easily.

IMO, Taylor has a better chance of beating Hopkins then Hatton as of beating Zoo. Like someone just said he's younger, faster,sharper and definitely appears stronger then Hopkins.

I'd give Taylor about a 15-20% chance, and Hatton about a 5% chance....

Hopkins has shown more signs of "aging" recently vs. Eastman and even against Oscar, while Kostya looked better than ever vs. Mitchell....

I don't think either guy will win, but Taylor has a slim chance, I just can't see any scenario where Hatton could be victorious, even a hometown decision doesn't look likely vs. a boxer like Tszyu

great point on handling the pressure of the big event, this is really Taylor's 1st big main event, and it's just another title defense for Bernard....I have a bad feeling that Taylor might pull a Michael Grant and look like a deer in the headlights....
Hatton's been a main eventer for years now, so the event won't bother him, Tszyu's KO power will though

Hatton has a much better shot at taking a few of Tszyus bombs and doing exactly what Vince Phillips did by just working him down and overwhelming him late.

Hop will do whatever it takes to win...Taylor has no idea whats coming to the table.

If Hopkins decided to brawl with Taylor it would be a big mistake. Taylor hits very hard, and once he hurts an oppenent he senses it and starts putting the hurt on them.

Hatton has the better chance. Hopkins is a better fighter than Tszyu. Hatton has a better chance of hitting Tszyu than Taylor does of hitting Hopkins. Also, just the styles. Hatton is far more effectively aggressive than Taylor. Hopkins is better defensively than Tszyu.

But, either way, Hopkins and Tszyu will both win easily.

I think they can both win. They both have the talent, the punch, the heart, the drive, the youth, the hunger, the power the speed. So you would think they should win. However they are up against (in my opinion, flame boys) two of the best fighters of all time. I almost feel sorry for them. At another time they could have been champs but I just don't think it's their time yet.

I'd love Hatton to win but I would be gutted Tszyu lost. I'd prefer Hopkins to cement his legacy, he is a pain in the ass but damn that guy goes about his business well.

I'll just add that I think it will be any easy fight for Hopkins He'll do what he needs to get the win. I don't think it will be that pretty though.
