What should a fighter eat the day of the fight?
Most fighters don't like to eat meat because it takes longer to digest.
DLH, eats lots of pasta.
Barrera eats salmon.
And what's on your menu?

I'am agreeing with that about the meat thing, u also don't want to eat that much either, I"am eating pizza because it's my favorite food, but not too much, also u got to throw some kidn of fruit salad or some kind of fruit in there.

ahh carbo loading id say is an option. remember, a lean mean, hungry dog, fites better than a dog thats just eaten.

I eat my usual breakfest. And about 1 or 2 hours before the fight I'll eat sandwich and chocolate bar.
oathmal in the morning.
chicken with salat and lot of pasta.
and some bannan`s

Its more important that you eat right the day before a fight then on the actual day. Now thats not to say dont eat good on that day too.

This is what I eat on Fight Day to give me energy. It all depends though. Here are the 2 ways I go about it:
125 Lb. Limit: All day, I would eat nothing, drink no water, nothing. I would get to the weigh-in at about 5 pm if the show was at 8, be the first to weigh in, have the Dr. sign my book saying I made the weight, eat 2 power bars, drink 2 bottles of water, and after the fight eat anything I wanted. If I didn't make weight, I go full monty.
132 Lb. Limit:
Breakfast: Go-Lean cereal, no milk.
Lunch: A medium portion of broiled chicken.
Post weigh-in: A Power bar
Post-Fight: Chinese Food or Popeye's.

oatmeal in the morning and pasta..pasta keeps you with energy..so have pasta the day b4 also..and drink alot of water and eat alot of bananas..you don't want no cramps during your fight.
