View Full Version : CHRIS BYRD calling TONEY A FAT BOY
Zab Super Judah 05-04-2005, 01:34 AM CHRIS_BYRD: Yeah, I give him respect. He beat a real heavyweight. I ain't going to playahate, I'm going to congratulate and anticipate that Toney wants to fight. I'm waiting on the date
CHRIS_BYRD: The public is demanding me versus fat boy and I'm ready to give it to em
got it frmo **********
Shaolin Bushido 05-04-2005, 01:37 AM Hehheh, I'm bettin "Fat Boy" will whip his ass when they meet. When I saw them on the same stage on TBDSS period, he looked kinda scared of Toney.
The Troll 05-04-2005, 01:38 AM Man Toney should not fight Byrd, he needs to fight one of the big heavyweights so all the doubters get off his back about not being a legit heavyweight. He should fight Golota. Unfortunately the WBO and WBA dont get along so Golota would have to vacate the WBO to challenge Toney for the WBA. Also Byrd has a bad style for Toney.
rogue_warrior 05-04-2005, 01:40 AM Ha, ha... fat boy.. LMAO Seriously though, i believe that Byrd would be Tony's most difficult heavywieght. He moves, counters, and is still difficult to hit.
Manny_P 05-04-2005, 01:45 AM that would be a good match-up
TheGreat1 05-04-2005, 03:05 AM Man Toney should not fight Byrd, he needs to fight one of the big heavyweights so all the doubters get off his back about not being a legit heavyweight. He should fight Golota. Unfortunately the WBO and WBA dont get along so Golota would have to vacate the WBO to challenge Toney for the WBA. Also Byrd has a bad style for Toney.
Only bad thing about this post is the fact that Brewster will KO Golota. I think he and Bryd would be a great fight, Haters are going to Hate on toney no matter who he beats, even if he wolds 2 HW title's
Zab Super Judah 05-04-2005, 03:19 AM Hehheh, I'm bettin "Fat Boy" will whip his ass when they meet. When I saw them on the same stage on TBDSS period, he looked kinda scared of Toney.
it would be a competitive fight but i would give toney the edge..TONEY alreayd has the mental edge..byrd seemed real scared sitting next to toney
kadyo 05-04-2005, 03:29 AM As much as I like Toney, I think he really do look fat!
Zab Super Judah 05-04-2005, 03:30 AM yeah and so does byrd....he was on the espn ppv and they made a joke about him putting on some extra weight while hes waiting for a fight
kadyo 05-04-2005, 03:38 AM Name me a current HW fighter who doesn't look fat. Well, holyfield looks fit but is way past his prime.
Shaolin Bushido 05-04-2005, 04:12 AM If lookin like Holy gets you results like he's been gettin ... gimme a fat gut anyday!
Btw, can anyone post Holy's record as a heavy, wins, losses, ko's?
I bet it don't look so good. I know he had some quality wins but I really thik most of us considered the fact he was really a "little" guy fighting giants.
A lot of his record is lt hvy and mainly cruiser fights.
kadyo 05-04-2005, 04:21 AM Not during his prime dude. He's still got the look but the skills that made him a HW champ has left him.

Shaolin Bushido 05-04-2005, 04:28 AM Overall, at heavy 19-8 with 12KO's including Rahman's ****ed up stoppage. 2 draws, I think.
I still quiver thinking of the possibilities if he and Moorer had stayed at lt hvy or cruiser.
Shaolin Bushido 05-04-2005, 04:28 AM Oh yeah, thanx kadyo. Preciate that.
kadyo 05-04-2005, 05:00 AM No prob dude, boxrec is just a click away. :)
Stickman 05-04-2005, 06:51 AM that would be a good match-up
I agree. I'm not interested in seeing Toney get brutalized by Klitchko....other than just getting to see James "Loudmouth" Toney get rendered speechless for once in his career. He needs to be matched against fighters closer to his size, and I think Byrd would probably be his toughest fight in years. Toney has another year, maybe 2 left. He needs to spend that time wisely, by putting on great shows. I wouldn't mind seeing him get beaten stupid by one of the Lurch Brothers, but I'd much rather see him in an entertaining fight instead.
Name me a current HW fighter who doesn't look fat. Well, holyfield looks fit but is way past his prime.
....Neither Klit brother ever ever looks fat. Named two for ya.
BoxingPrincess 05-04-2005, 08:46 AM CHRIS_BYRD: Yeah, I give him respect. He beat a real heavyweight. I ain't going to playahate, I'm going to congratulate and anticipate that Toney wants to fight. I'm waiting on the date

lol...Byrdy rhymes :o
toney is a fat boy :p
Truth 05-04-2005, 08:51 AM Byrd has almost gotten beat in his last couple of fights, so I wouldn't talk trash if I was him.
Renegade 05-04-2005, 10:22 AM Byrd has almost gotten beat in his last couple of fights, so I wouldn't talk trash if I was him.
No ****! If Toney could rid the heavys of Ruiz AND Byrd, he'd be my hero forever! Kinda like an old Western sheriff, cleanin up the Territory!
puppy_dogg 05-04-2005, 10:27 AM well, fat boy got skill. the mongoose may be a little hefty but i would still pick him to beat byrdy
i hate both of them so it dont mater to me
....Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing Toney get rid of Byrds ass for good too. I think Toney will win the fight with Byrd handily. Hopefully that will send Byrd's homosexual looking, slappy punching, obnoxious wife having ass into retirement.
markosg19 05-04-2005, 11:02 AM chris bird needs to shut the **** up and fight a somebody! he would get knocked out by either one of the klitschkos if he were to fight them again........he is a pile of ****!
mauricio95 05-04-2005, 11:08 AM Only bad thing about this post is the fact that Brewster will KO Golota. I think he and Bryd would be a great fight, Haters are going to Hate on toney no matter who he beats, even if he wolds 2 HW title's
you got that right fat boy :D
just jocking :D
loangunZ 05-04-2005, 11:10 AM I would love to see toney take byrd out of the picture and I agree it would be his toughest fight I don't think he would win if he layed off on rounds like he usually does in fights.
Atwa_66 05-04-2005, 11:24 AM Only bad thing about this post is the fact that Brewster will KO Golota. I think he and Bryd would be a great fight, Haters are going to Hate on toney no matter who he beats, even if he wolds 2 HW title's
LMFAO! Yeah, Brewster will KO Golota, right. Unfournately for you and everyone else who thinks this, Golota does not have a glass chin like Wlad, and Golota will be the one landing big bombs, not Brewster. That's a ridicolous statement.
Zab Super Judah 05-04-2005, 11:26 AM lol...Byrdy rhymes :o
toney is a fat boy :p
byrd should have lost to golota and barely got past mcline
marvdave 05-04-2005, 11:27 AM CHRIS_BYRD: Yeah, I give him respect. He beat a real heavyweight. I ain't going to playahate, I'm going to congratulate and anticipate that Toney wants to fight. I'm waiting on the date

that doesn't sound very christian :D
Zab Super Judah 05-04-2005, 11:27 AM i think don king is working golota into the heavyweight picture so that he could get a eventual match vs vitali if rahman cant get it done
Torino 05-04-2005, 11:33 AM ....Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing Toney get rid of Byrds ass for good too. I think Toney will win the fight with Byrd handily. Hopefully that will send Byrd's homosexual looking, slappy punching, obnoxious wife having ass into retirement.
HAHAHAHHHAHA!!!!!!!
it's an interesting, but probably dreadful, fight.... not sure who'd win though, i might have to favor byrd.....
TheGreat1 05-04-2005, 08:13 PM LMFAO! Yeah, Brewster will KO Golota, right. Unfournately for you and everyone else who thinks this, Golota does not have a glass chin like Wlad, and Golota will be the one landing big bombs, not Brewster. That's a ridicolous statement.
So do you think Golota is better then Wlad, i really doubt that. You don't need a glass chin to be KO'd by brewster, this guy hits very hard. It's not so ridicolous to think the champion will win a fight.
phallus 05-04-2005, 10:46 PM toney and byrdy would be a very exciting fight...why???? because they both got mad skills and handspeed for the hw division...byrdy could actually be toney's toughest fight, if he chooses to dance and use the footwork he had at middleweight. if not, the new stand and trade byrd loses a decison to the fat boy. the bottom line is, byrdy is talented, but doesn't have the killer instinct, he fights to score points, JT punches with bad intentions - the bruises on ruiz' rib cage and his swollen face told the whole story. bottom line, james beats byrd. oh, yeah, and i almost forgot, i got to gloat a little....JAMES TONEY IS THE WBA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMP, MOTHA****ERS!!!! the 3rd middleweight champ in history to become a hw champ, there's only bob fitzsimmons, RJJ, and JAMES Lights Out TONEY!!!!!!
hollister 05-04-2005, 11:25 PM that doesn't sound very christian :D
I agree, I think that as a christian, he's a fraud.
sgtheny 05-05-2005, 06:54 PM i think toney vs byrd would be great. and on the fat issue, you would be fat if you ate john ruiz as toney did last week

Byrd called out Toney because Toney is a fat hog. He won't fight Byrd because he knows Byrd has the wrong style for Toney. Byrd has to try and insult Toney, but a fat boy like Toney only gets insulted when you swipe his plate. If you notice, Toney never fights the top dogs. Guinn is the closest thing to a prime heavy that he beat and Guinn was only rated about 20th or so. Toney didn't win squat over Ruiz and will be giving his future purses to Ruiz if Ruiz wins his lawsuit.
Peter's been calling out Toney for 2 yrs, but Toney don't want to endanger a possible title fight because I figure it takes Peter around 2 rounds to render Toney's fat into a grease glob. Toney keeps saying how he's gonna KO all these bums, but he's too damn fat to flip anyone's switch.
As far as Rahman goes, who the hell would even go to the fight or care who wins? Rahman squandered what could have been a decent career and ain't got the brains to clean drains much less hang on to a title. But since he's in debt to King maybe King will prop him up with typical King gift decisions because Toney bout ain't enough to pay off King.
jack_the_rippuh 11-19-2005, 10:07 AM "Fat boy" .... When you're going to insult someone about something that is obvious you have to put it together in a clever way. That's just like someone walking up to Chris Byrd saying, "Your fight with TOS was boring, man." That's obvious.
