napansin ko nga na umangat ang paa ni fahsan ng tamaan ng left uppercut ni pac. siguro naman ay di sasayangin ni pac ang pag-eensayo at preparasyon nila ni freddie roach para dito. alam din niya ang pabuya na naghihintay sa kanya (pera at pagiging alamat sa boksing sa buong mundo). isa pa ay tiyak na hindi ito pababayaan ni freddie. parang anak ang tingin niya dito at talagang nagmamalasakit. isa pa ay mukhang may love interest na batang-batang pinay si roach, so magiging personal na ang relasyon nila kung sakali na magkakatuluyan si freddie at ang pinay na ito. malamang na si pac din ang may kagagawan kaya niya nakilala ito, pinalabas lang siguro ng media na na-meet ni roach ito sa department store, unless kung talagang nakalimutan nito ang sapataos niya dito sa amerika kaya doon pa bumili. :)

o-loks din si reccah ano...masyadong mapapel...i hope it was a constructive criticism...pero i didn't notice that on pac when i watched it. baka kulang lang sa pansin ito at gustong magmala-fahsan na kahit tulo ng pawis ay napansin. i think manny was in tip-top condition during the fight. but i'll read the post and watch the fight again and let you know my observation, pero mamaya-maya na...sarap pa ng kwentuhan dito.

You averted what could've been another national disaster by staying on your feet and scoring that screaming knockout.

You could now take a break and splurge.

Your conditioning, your stamina stinks.

You indeed packed the big punch.

You were able to display a budding new weapon in your arsenal: your promising right cross.

But you came to that championship fight with your oxygen tank only half full.

Thank God, Fahsan 3K Battery, despite all his noisy vows to stop you, did not happen to be a distant cousin of Señor Marquez.

You could've stopped the Thai with only one hand: your left.

In fact, you did crush him, to the delight of all of us, after coming in only half ready for a title bout.

I know you later admitted to someone close (to you) that you were something like 80 percent ready for the fight.

OK. No problem with your punching power.

You could even say you surpassed yourself in the fourth round with two successive uppercuts that both toppled Fahsan, the second one sending him airborne, then flat on the cold, slippery canvas for good.

But please don't believe what you had to say during the on-ring celebration.

Be more objective now. Be honest with yourself.

At best, you could've been only seventy per cent ready for that big assignment last Saturday. It could be a lot worse.

No, you were not expected to come in perfect, super-super form.

But, after having thanked everybody, why not thank also the guy who handpicked Fahsan for your tune-up match?

Fahsan was a darling. He fitted his role to a T.

Now, this is not to say that the Thai had to be sacrificed.

But, then, what if they had taken somebody who could box and move around?

What if they had brought you a foe who could slip past your deadly reach, say, in the first four rounds.

You would have lost your breath come the fifth or sixth.

You would've spent your poor oxygen tank empty.

And then: disaster.

Well, it's too late now, but it would've been a totally different story if the Thais, as initially planned, had decided to make Fahsan run in the first rounds to induce tiredness.

We've all been very lucky that Fahsan, a pure fighter, did not happen to be a master boxer equipped with enviable ringmanship.

He was a flat, out-and-out slugger who just stood there and dished out what he could take.

If Fahsan had, say, borrowed a pair of magical Ali fighting shoes that could've allowed him to stay out of your killer fists for maybe four rounds, we could've all woke up the morning after feeling like a funeral parlor.

Fahsan was later overheard offering his apologies.

But, then, he had nothing to be sorry about.

He did his role, provided the perfect share for a perfect mismatch, if there's such a thing.

Have you talked to Lenny de Jesus, your visiting cut man?

Ronnie Nathanielsz, who cares for you as he would a favorite son, said Lenny had told him that your timing was off right in the first round.

"The fight against Fahsan was great for the fans, but definitely not for Manny Pacquiao," Mr. Ronnie had quoted him as saying.

You were indeed incandescent, luminous, electric, and you charged up the spirit of the poor plodding masa with that magical knockout win of yours.

You did create an unforgettable Saturday night fever, complete with fireworks lighting up overcast skies.

But, then, if you ask people who know and love Philippine boxing, like Tony Aldeguer and Wakee Salud, both noted makers of world champions who were at ringside on Saturday, you'd be told that you need to shape up (for Señor Marquez) fast.

Wakee described your stamina against Fahsan as a screaming disaster.

Mr. Aldeguer said it was very evident you had to cram for the Fahsan bout.

I have nothing more to add. Thanks for the fun.

oo p're na-download ko na right after joma gave the link. pinagsabay-sabay ko nga 'yong apat na rounds...he-he-he...so 4 connections agad nakuha ko..wala pa naman kayo dito...siguro tulog pa kayo kung nasa pinas kayo...it took almost an hour din. i have yahoo dsl...siguro around 135kbps ako...if i'm not mistaken. i had cable before...but i don't notice the difference.dsl is more consistent though...

I agree with the article. Pac was superb in his power but lacking in stamina. He'd need to prepare better if he wants to beat JMM. His mouth was half open already in the 4th round, which is probably why he wanted to finish Fahsan already.

p're nakikita mo ba yung flag dun sa post ko? pero dun sa profile ko andun sya, bakit dun sa post ko di ko makita? yung avatar naman di ko mapaliit yung pixels, fixed yata yun eh, di mo ma-aadjust.

p're rightclick mo lang yung flag ko tapos highlight mo yung URL pag ka highlight mo rightclick ka ulit or control V. then punta ka sa userCP mo edit signature tapos hanapin mo yung insert image sa taas saka mo paste...
sa avatar email mo sa akin yung pic na gusto mo avatar tapos edit ko yung pixel din email back ko sayo...OK. :D
