Even this weekend he made Toney work for his belt and took him to 12, this a man who had over 40 KO victories. Ruiz challenged any of the other HWs to fight him to unify the division but guess what they all ducked him because they were scared of losing their belts. That means something when Byrd and Vitali are too chicken**** to fight Ruiz!

That makes no sense. Why the hell would King try to keep a belt on Ruiz? Ruiz brought no fans to the bouts and it would have been in his interest to have another of his fighters collect the belt instead. What King was really scared of if anything is that Ruiz would win and then he'd have limited options in making fights that didn't involve Ruiz who'd hold 2 belts and then have an even worse problem getting people in the seats.
