Has Anyone seen the fight between Naseem Hamed and Said Lawal.
Its A F**in Funny Fite and here is ur roundup of it:
**CAMERA BEGINS ZOOMING IN/NAZ DOESNT WANNA HOLD ABOUT SO HE DECIDES TO END IT B4 THE CAMERA GETS A CHANCE TO GET A GOOD LOOK ON THE FIGHT**

1.0 seconds - Nas Storms over to Lawals Side of the ring
2.01 seconds - Lawal sums up how to beat naseem
2.02 seconds later - BANG! bye bye lawal out for about a 7 count i think
9.0 seconds - Lawal gets up/ ****y naz goes up to him with no guard --> uppercut thru guard again and lawal is stopped.

**GOTTA SAY IT IS ONE SENSATIONAL FITE**

**Lawal breaks nose in 3 places from the initial punch and naz makes an 8th defence of the title i think**

How does that answer all u naseem haters! :boxing:

Fair point but they seemed to think he was good enough in order to challenge for the belt. Let me note also that naz could have ended fights long before he did on a number of occasions such as against Robinson (when he won the first belt). He only didnt because he had betted that he would end the fight in the 3rd so thats where he ended it.

Naz is the elite.

Why didn't he end the barrera fight? Did he forget to make a bet?

Nothing takes away from the fact that Prince Naseem was f**kin brilliant. I believe that the only excuse that can be made about Naseem loosing against barrerra was because he changed gym. In fact theres no 2 ways about it. He beat unbeaten men before (and these are respected men aswell) he lifted many belts. His downfall was moving away from Brendan Ingle. I also understand he had a holiday about 3 weeks from the fight instead of training.

Dont judge him because he left boxing after one fight. He didnt even do that actually cos he came back in 2001.

Lets all wish him success --> theres not many that have raised the English game like he has and hopefully he can still do well.

ps. his age is only 31

Naz used that exact same move on numerous occasions. He would start the fight by doing a little skip, stride towards his opponent & throw a quick right hook. Lawal was the only guy in the world who didn't see it coming.
Good punchstats for Naz though. I think it was 3 punches thrown, 3 punches landed.

Get Naz's nuts out of your mouth!! Stop making excuses for him.. If he had heart and character he wouldn't have been humiliated and ran back to Britian just like the little *** Red Coat Army did after the Revolutionary War.. This is America nobody cares about the King and Queen, and certainly not about an overrated loud-mouth fighter who ducked elite level competition his whole career. Ask JMM's people why Naz would never fight him!!

Well I respect your opinion and here's mine. I don't believe he was brilliant as you would put it. He was a fighter with an awkward awkward style who got away with it with his quick reflexes and punching power. He had lousy balance and horrible footwork. He didn't loose against Barrera because of his lack of training, he was just facing a man who had excellent form and had the ring knowledge to go with it. Pit him against any fighter who can counterpunch as well as barrera did and you'll get a clinic.

I answer it with Marco Antonio Barerra. How do you answer him? Oh right, you don't! He slapped Naz around for 12 rounds. Naz was just about dead at a couple points in that fight.

JMM would have had a lot easier time than Barerra did.

 some people seem to think that a one punch KO means nothing and all they can bring up is Marco Barrerra, seems to be a lack of knowledge of Naseems skill, is anyone english and in support of me here???
