I would love to go but I got to pay for Ibiza.

None of my mates would go and don't fancy going by myself.

Could take my mrs to Denmark for a couple of days as an early birthday present.

i'd love to go but am broke at the moment , if kessler was getting frustrated with ward's tactics , he's got a lot of trouble with froch! its an intersting fight , it might come down to if the ref lets froch rough kessler up

I think Froch could take this as lon as he roughs Mikkel up.

The ref may be **** hot seeing if it is in Denmark so he better becareful of point reductions.

Isn't Denmark insanely expensive?

I'd love to go,but I want to go to go travelling around Thailand more.

I think people in these Scandanavian countries specifically Sweden must have an average wage of about £30,000. My sister went and you could help yourself to a bottle of water for £5.

I'm guessing even over two days your wallet will take a hammering.

a couple mates asked me if I wanted to go, but Denmark is expensive, and being married to a Norwegian I'm back and forward to Norway twice a year so I decided against it.

One draw back though it hasn't been decided if the fight will take place at the MCH Messecenter in Herning which only holds a few thousand or at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen which holds 30,000. I suppose it depends on the interest of the fight, especially from visiting fans.

I'm saving up to go to Haye-Ruiz in London.

World champion Carl Froch is battling to stage the next defence of his title in Copenhagen, rather than the smaller Danish city of Herning.

Nottingham fighter Froch is due to defend his WBC super-middleweight title against Mikkel Kessler on 17 April.

The final venue is yet to be confirmed, but Froch is keen to fight Denmark's Kessler actually in the Danish capital.

"That's where it needs to be," Froch told BBC Nottingham. "I'm battling the politics behind closed doors."

Herning is 150 miles away to the east of Copenhagen. And Froch admits: "For the Danes it's easy to get to, but for the Brits and for the Cobra fans it's going to be really difficult, so they'll probably stay and watch it at home."

606: DEBATE
Will Froch be too good for Kessler?

Froch retained his world title against Andre Dirrell at the Nottingham Arena in October 2009, his first fight in the new "Super Six" tournament.

But Kessler was beaten by Andre Ward the following month after a unanimous technical decision in California, and therefore lost his WBA belt.

It would not be the first time that Froch defends his title outside of the UK.

He went to the United States to beat Jermain Taylor in a dramatic final round knock-out in Connecticut in April 2009.

Not much cash to spare at the moment. I'm thinking of going to the Sexton-Williams card because there's a lot of decent fighters on show that night. Would like to go to Froch-Kessler, gonna wait and see how much it'll cost before deciding.

I dunno Surge, I don't think so but maybe, I don't know much about the country.

Just did some searching around and airline tickets are pretty cheap, I only checked one place but they have it as £30 to fly there and £50 to fly back.

Yeah it would but I have a feeling that Showtime might do Froch vs Kessler/Ward vs Bika/Green the same way they did Abraham vs Taylor/Froch vs Dirrell. As in they would pre-record Froch-Kessler so on Primetime they would show that live and then just have a few hours before the Ward fight finishes that card off. Then hopefully that would all finish before the Khan-Maidana card even kicks off, I doubt it but would be one hell of a night of boxing although it would cost us about £27 for the 2 PPV's.
