Wish I could of put more on the poll, but 10's the limt. Thus the reason there's no Cerdan, Walker, Tiger, Griffith, Conn, Fitzsimmons, Ryan etc on it.

The_Demon 01-12-2010, 07:01 PM 1. Monzon 2. Hagler 3.Greb poet682006 01-12-2010, 07:27 PM 1. Robinson 2. Fitzsimmons 3. Hagler mickey malone 01-12-2010, 08:28 PM 1. Robinson 2. Fitzsimmons 3. Hagler Many people don't realize that Fitz enjoyed most of his success at MW.. poet682006 01-12-2010, 08:37 PM Many people don't realize that Fitz enjoyed most of his success at MW.. Even when he was fighting at Heavyweight he didn't weigh much over the Middleweight limit. Funny thing about Fitz: In the two fights with Jeffries Ruby Robert was just destroying him and simply wore down in the second fight and broke both hands in the first fight. In both cases Fitzsimmons came out of the fights practically unmarked while Jeffries looked like he'd been assaulted with a chainsaw ;) Poet mickey malone 01-12-2010, 08:45 PM Even when he was fighting at Heavyweight he didn't weigh much over the Middleweight limit. I have to admit Ruby Robert is an all-time favorite of mine :) Poet cooper5 01-13-2010, 12:39 AM Robinson to me, though he was better at welterweight. TheStoneRoses 01-13-2010, 02:30 AM 1. Sugar Ray 2. Greb 3. LaMotta JAB5239 01-13-2010, 03:34 AM 1. Sugar Ray 2. Greb 3. LaMotta You can make arguments for your 1 and 2, but how can LaMotta possibly rank above Hagler and Monzon? MexicanMauler 01-13-2010, 03:36 AM the original sugar man TBear 01-13-2010, 03:53 AM I would go with Sugar Ray too with Hagler and Monzon tieing for second. TheStoneRoses 01-13-2010, 04:01 AM You can make arguments for your 1 and 2, but how can LaMotta possibly rank above Hagler and Monzon? i agree mate......i should edit my post, i have a 3 way tie for 3rd hagler/monzon/lamotta....i can't seem to make up my mind but for me, Sugar Ray is the best Middleweight ever....i mean come on, to do what he did at middleweight when he was way past his best is incredible Silencers 01-13-2010, 04:16 AM IMO Marvin Hagler. |
