Its not better than me, but its better than anyone else I've ever seen on here, besides myself of course.

Looks like my rhyme was above peoples' heads. After my battle concludes, I think I'll deconstruct my own lyrics for everybody.

There is this silly belief, I think, that if something isn't a freestyle its no good. I don't even try freestyling on a message board because its impossible. Chatrooms you can freestyle, or "keystyle" I believe they call it. Instead, I put in about half an hour and try coming up with something halfass constructed at least.

If you really did that in 3 minutes neils, that's impressive. freestyling for me is very hit and miss, which I don't do it much anyhow. Hell, haven't done it with any effort in quite a while. But when I do it, if I'm hot, I'm usually really good. Or, I'm ****ing horrible. No real in between.

Truthfully, I'm not very good at freestyling aloud - If I had an hour plus a pen and a pad (a la LL), I would be up for that - but I have no way of recording, mixing, etc.

I wonder if anyone on this site does that...

The battle Me and Oscar rules had on this thread was pretty decent IMO. I wonder where he went?

My computer at home lost audio completely and damned if I'm getting it fixed before I absolutely need to. Actually I might take it up to my grandparents' in a few days and ask my great uncle (their neighbor) to look at it.

I don't really have a decent mic either. The only one I have is built into my home PC monitor.

I think I sound like **** when I rap aloud but I'd be willing to try it. Anybody could do the mixing themselves quite easily with Cool Edit Pro. You just put the instrumental in Track 1, then your voice in Track 2, Save the mixdown to a MP3, easy as 123.

Recording is easy too, you just play the instrumental in headphones and rap on the mic, that way the instrumental isn't picked up and it sounds better. Although even with cool edit pro it still sounds somewhat home recorded, its a lot less ghetto than the old fashioned way.
