I actually saw an item in Boxing News where they said some commission or other was looking into the colours of gloves as some could be registered on the eye more than others. Presumably they meant a red glove would be less potentially hazardous than, say, I dunno, a yellow glove, as you'd see it coming and take the punch better?

Would these gloves affect temperature greatly, I wonder? Your top choice being warmest, white coldest?

Just from the perspective of watching a fight as a spectator I prefer when boxers use black or red gloves to especially light blue or white.

Transparent gloves are the best. Makes the opponent see your wrapped fists coming at him for more of a psychological effect.

I saw a boxing match once and this guy was wearing these transparent trunks and they got all wet and you could see through them and ****, could see his balls hanging out, it was ****ing wierd. No joke. The commentator said "well this is the first x rated boxing match in history" or something to that extent.

No, I did not even have a chance to be gay, I was like 9 or something when it happened. It didnt really bother me, it was just wierd.

Yes they do. There is a guy I've seen who wears pink gloves, pink shorts and pink headgear. Needless to say people call him Pinky :D

I was going to ask. because I would like to sport pink gloves and magenta shorts. That would release some sort of pheromone trigger in every ring card girl who works fights.
