Seems like a well-reseached, informative piece to me. A lot of instructors take the attitude that students can ALWAYS be pushed to do better. Maybe the critic knows that you are capable of better work where we would not have enough info on you to decide.

My own tactic was to work on something until I was satisfied that I had given it my best while remembering that there is such a thing as over-editing.

Bottom line...YOU know if you have given it your best shot. If you have, put it to bed. With pride.

Exactly Spinks..you know if you did the best you could or not, be satisfied with your efforts. I liked it myself..and dont see what the teacher is complaining about.
Let us know the final grade when you get it okay ;)

Cool thanks for the tips...The pro side to steroids was a bit short so I added a little bit...Looks good now....

I really do appreciate the time for reading it, it is kind of lengthy.

Thanks again.

Het spinks, i've read your essay and here is a little suggestion. In a second paragraph(where you talk about pro's of roids) you use word " steroids" way to often. My english professor, for example hates when i start consecutive sentences with the same word, so I suggest you might want to change that.

Don't listen to him Spinks! He starts all of HIS paragraphs with "Het". I'm no english major, but I don't even think THAT'S a word! :p

Hey bro. Do you have to argue pros and cons or did you decide that on your own? I find that you are usually better off picking one side of an issue and sticking to it. There were a number of gramatical errors as well. When is this paper due? If I have time I'll pm you this evening with my corrections and recommendations.

Yeah it has to be a pro/con paper which is weak as hell...

Anyways that copy that I posted has been edited a good bit and slashed a few things.
