Congrats to Ruiz, for not hugging, he was still ass. Toney is all hype, I can't believe Roy had the nerve to say he can beat either of the KLitshcko's. The man would get demolished by Klitschko, Rahman, and outboxed by Byrd. Toney showed very little, nothin close to make me believe he would beat either Klitschko.

One thing I liked about this fight is that we are rid of Ruiz, and that Toney is willing to face Klitschko. I hope he faces Wladimir.

If I ever get to 17 million, I'll bet you the whole thing. Admittedly, VK has faced some poor competition as of late, but he dominated all of them. You say Toney will beat him on the body, but yet you failed to give a reason why Toney would even be able to get that close. VK by KO inside of 6, just like Danny Williams.

I still don't know if we saw anything from Toney tonight that would show that he has a serious future against those guys. Though I'm a Toney novice here, he doesn't get shown in Limeyland that often. Hell, I had to stream him tonight. And that belly took a lot of streaming.

Toney couldnt KO Booker nor Jirov how would he hurt Vitali??? Vitali is the hardest puncher in the division. He had Danny Williams dancing the 1st round from punches that looked like he barely touched him

Toney has a granite chin.
Danny Williams had a chin, but Tyson softened it up. So by the time Vitali got to him it was already ****.

Tyson softened it up? Sorry jack, but I just can't buy that. Your boy Toney can talk a good fight and beat John Ruiz. I'm glad he did, but in the context of beating VK, so the **** what?

He fought a close battle with Ruiz, and you expect Vitali who is 6'8 with a reach of 29 inches, to get lured into slouching to a 5'9 man with a less than stellar reach of like 25 inches? Not to mention Vitali pocesses power within the whole fight, and has more than 2 handfull of knockouts past the 4th round unlinke Ruiz, whose power fades as early as the 3rd round.

Softened it up lmao? That's priceless. I guess than Vitali's chin was also softened up after the Lewis fight, why didn't Corrie Sanders knock Vit out than? He did land a whole of clean power shots, and is known to pocess great power? What's your explanation for that one bud?

No one is hating on Toney, I think it's clear though, that TOney is trash when compared to Vitali. To be honest I want Toney to vs Wlad, I certainly believe Wlad would wipe the floor with him, even better than Vitali.

Yep, he'd bait him in with his broken, bleeding face and unconcious body (or corpse).

Sorry buddy...if Toney were bigger, he'd stand a good chance, maybe even a great chance....but fat isn't the type of "bigger" he needs to beat Klitchko. Toney would be abused badly.

Yeah, Toney would have enough problems with younger brother. He needs to seriously hold his tongue about getting in there with Vitali. He doesn't want to lose his belt too quickly.

Toney may have a decent chin, but the reason he has a reputation of having a granit jaw is because he's so great at slipping and rolling with punches, so they don't have nearly the effect they do on most other fighters. He's one of the slickest defensive fighters inside (maybe the best, even) in the business. However, against someone the size of Klitchko, you can't lay back and try to slip everything...you'll just get beat up. He'd have to get inside against Klitchko, something nobody smaller than him has managed to do without paying a big price, and Toney would be forced to pay the same as everyone else. Even Ruiz managed to touch him somewhat tonight. Klitchko would pound him so bad, Toney would follow him like a whipped puppy for the rest of his life.

unless he throws his punch at a 80 degree angle

You're right, I don't think he would be able to land on Klitchko's head either. And I just don't believe body punches would work...they haven't before> Vitali is just too fit. It's obvious you're a Toney fan, but there's a point where bigger guys are just too much bigger, and this would be one of them. It'd be better if Toney lost his belt to Byrd or Brewster, in a close UD. It would be far less humiliating than the beat-down Klitchko would give him.

Even if he does land a punch on VK, what good will it do? Really? VK has taken shots from Lewis and Sanders recently, and Toney is gonna hurt him? LOL.

Toney did alot better than I thought he would and showed he can take heavyweight punches (some of Ruiz's shots to the body were pretty damn hard).
After seeing that I think a fight with Vitali will be closer than many people think. I am not crazy, really, Vitali will still win, but it will not be a walk over and it might not even be a KO. It will be Toney on his "D" game and slip VK's jab/right for most the night, sneak inside and get off a few good shots to the body, find out he just can not hurt VK, and go into "D" to hope to tire him out. UD VK

Now as far as Wlad goes, Toney will have a MUCH harder time with Wlad. WK will not be easy to slip and Toney will not get a chance to get inside. Wlads chin may be suspect against heavy hitters, but not Toney. KO 3-7 Wlad

Byrd. Hell I have no idea what would happen with these two, but I would love to find out. Gut thought... UD Toney

Brewster......hahahahaahah UD Toney
