I don't give a flying ****. I've been saying this since before the first announcement of the fight was confirmed. Jackson is gonna lose to Evans.

Rampage is bigger, stronger, a better boxer, and has great takedown defence. Rashad has speed?

i think Rashad will try to leg kick him to death, since Rampage hasn't checked one in years

i'm sure greg jackson will come up with some gameplan that will give Rashad a decent chance. before the Thiago fight, i was picking Rashad, but his chin is on the decline. rampage hits alot harder than Thiago so if he connects, Evans might not get his bearing back.

on the other hand Rashad is undefeated against people who have previously fought his boy Jardine.

This is very true dude, Rashad will constantly keep mixing it up the whole fight. he will not attempt to go toe to toe like everybody thinks he is.

How has he matured?? he fought a cleverf but very boring fight against thiago, what will he do against someone who he cant take down? maybe rampage? he will get ko'd for sure. thiago it him once clean and he pulled a zab judah. rashad was so dam lucky to survive that. Shogun and machida would tax his ass all night long.

If he chooses to exchange with Rampage he gets ktfo. He'll probably win by leg kicking and moving.

Rashad won't be able to take Quinton down, that means that the fight is over for Rashad.

Let me ask you, what striker of Quinton's caliber has Rashad beaten standing? None.

Forrest Griffin is not a good striker and he beat Rampage. Rashad will adopt a similar strategy I imagine and most likely get a decision. But if he does decide to bang with Rampage I see Evans getting ko'd.

The only way Rashad wins is by kicking and running. If he exchanges with Rampage he's gonna get KTFO....

Rashad beats Rampage, I picked Rashad to beat Thiago and he did. I don't think Rashad will have a lot trouble taking Rampage down, he'll have some trouble mos definitely but I don't think Rampage is going to be able to stuff all those take down attempts. I think Rashad is better on the ground based on the fights I have seen from the 2.

I notice Quinton got the power while Rashad has the speed, Quinton got the brute force while Rashad has the finesse, overall Rashad outpoints Rampage in a 3 round war. even standing up I think Rashad could kick his head off if given the right chance.

they BOTH stand a good chance to win on the stand up but Rashad can win in all ways while Rampage might have some trouble if he can't ground and pound you or knock you out, again this is from what I personally see in both of them. Forrest Griffin isn't the best striker in the game but he was able to out do Rampage and Shogun by purely outworking them with an above average ground game, I can see Rashad doing the same thing..

I don't see nobody beating Rashad, I'm STILL surprised Machida did it, I can't help but feel that Rashad showed him way too much respect, he did what Carano did to Santos but in a rematch? I got Rashad all day..

Rashad will beat Rampage. I'm a fan of both but I lean more towards Rashad.

Rampage is just too 1-dimensional now. I dont know what Juanito and Wolfslair has done to him but damn. All he does is cover-roll and left hook. Thats not much gameplanning if you ask me.

If we see a safe-playing Rashad, then I see a decision. But if he has gotten over the fear of getting KO'd. Then Rashad could possibly put Rampage down like he did Forrest. You know, getting a ground and pound tko. Not like how he did Liddell.

I laugh at people who say Rashad can only hit-and-run. If Jardine and Forrest(both of which dont have granite chins) can stand up with Rampage, who's to say Rashad can't? :dunno:

Rashad might be the most overrated LHW in the world.....

Rashad is a very good fighter but has a glass chin and doesn't react well when he gets hurt. When he's hurt he backs up, stay on the ropes and doesn't block or duck punches. He's doing half of the job for the opponent and basically asks to get KOed.
Rashad has better wrestling and Muay Thai; Rampage has more physical strength, more power and much better boxing. His chin is better too.

People talk about Rashad's handspeed but it's easy to look fast when you fight against Tito Ortiz and hard hitting but slow as hell Thiago Silva. Rashad is fast but i don't even think he's faster than Rampage. Even if he was, Rampage has too much boxing skills for him.

Rashad's jiu jitsu seems underrated though, i wonder how good it is.

rampage better not do the plodding crap hes now known for.

bout ****in time rampage picked this annoying dickhole up and trademark slammed him right on his head.

wheres the rampage from pride gone, with highlight real slams and GnP.
and honestly, his boxing really aint all that IMO. i think belfort would destroy quinton, i even think franklin could decision him [could ok, just could]

on that note, **** rashad.
dont care if rampage plods as long as he stops rashad

Rampage by K Evans TFO! Evans' chin is cracked. Machida cracked it. As good as Evans looks against Thiago in rounds 1 and 2 he got rocked in the 3rd. Evans' legs were gone and I don't think he would have made it through another round. Rampage is going to put him in the mud. If Dan Henderson couldn't control Rampage on the ground I don't see Evans doing it.

Has he really? He followed Greg Jackson's tactics perfectly for two rounds and was comfortably winning but still came close to throwing it away by making what can only be dubbed a rookie mistake and engaging with Silva. Against a better fighter, or ever a fitter one, Rashad would have been knocked out.

Rashad didn't look like himself you can't deny that, he showed WAY too much respect going in, his mentality wasn't correct for the task that awaited him, his mental flaws affected his physical game and caused him to be overly defensive, along with Machida's excellent skills and ability. I think a more aggressive Rashad will make for a way more compelling fight..

That being said I think Rashad will beat Rampage because he is an overall better rounded fighter, he can execute more offenses in the game. Rashad can fight you any way while Rampage does most his dirt either with punches on the stand up or ground and pound, Rashad is skilled and equal enough to get around that, Quinton wont toy with Rashad by any means. I think you're under rating Rashad Evans, you make it seem like he isn't the truth..

He's not, he hasn't fought anybody to get excited about. He was lucky to get a draw against Tito, KOed Chuck "no chin" Liddell, barely beat Bisping, and Koed Forrest who knocks himself out with a powerful sneeze. The only high ranked fighter he ever fought was Machida and he was severely outclassed....
