Some users here on the history forum has requested some trivia. I find that particularly relevant at this time as NSB is unmoderated and flooded with near identical Floyd-Pac threads.

So here's a little assignent:

As a pro Ali met olympic champions from 3 different weightclasses in Patterson (middle), Spinks (LHW) and Frazier/Foreman (HW).

Name fighters who during their pro-career also fought olympic champions from 3 different weightclasses.

I'll offer 10K for every correct answer!

Question is invented by JoeGrim from lionheart-boxing.dk.

That's right. Ali @ lhw, Chris Finnegan @ MW and Frazier @ HW.

Dwight Muhammad Qawi fought Michael Spinks (Middleweight), Leon Spinks (Light Heavyweight) and George Foreman (Heavyweight).

Mick Leahy
Luis Folledo
Harry Scott
George Aldridge
Jean Ruellet
Michel Francois

All 6 met Nino Benvenuti (W) and Laszlo Papp (LM and M)... so, technically, they all met olympic champions from 3 different weight classes. But, on the other hand, they each met only 2 olympic champions, so maybe this doesn't count?

Well if Roy Jones had won the gold he deserved, there would have been several more.

Fair enough!

Come to think of it, Harry Scott also met Chris Finnegan (M)... so he must be ok after all, as he met Benvenuti at W and Papp at LM.

... and then I would like to know, if hhascup has been able to find some additional examples? Can't believe he came up with Pedro Agosto - wouldn't have thought of him in a million years!

And Harry Scott seals this subject to my knowledge.

I went to some Amateur bouts in New York tonight and guess who I ran into, Pedro Agosto. When I told him that he was an answer to a trivia question, he said what question was that, and he didn't even know he had done that. I told him he was one of only a few boxers ever to box Olympic Champions that won Olympic Titles in 3 different weight classes. I left him with a BIG smile on his face.
