With all these unprovoked attacks from boxing scene "celebrity", Neils, I thought I'd actually stoop to his level and check out some of earliest threads, just as an indication of what high level of intellectual debate we're currently missing out on.
Here's three of Neils's earliest threads, a high watermark for the NSB forum that is no longer attained:
POLL: Best/Worst Boxer Nicknames? (**** me, a veritable cornucopia of pugislitic excellence - this guy should have his own TV show...)
I just watched 6+ hours of boxing from tonight Wit, insight, inspiration....
Which of these fighters is most likely to hold a major belt in 2005? Sensational...
And let's not forget the classic "Poll: who will win out of Toney or Ruiz?"
Listen - I take it all back. Neils is a classy poster and looking back through these mighty works of boxing criticism has made me realise just what the NSB forum is currently missing... absolutely **** all.
