On Saturday WBO strawweight champion Ivan “Iron Boy” Calderon (21-0, 4 KO’s) will make his fifth defense of the title against Filipino Noel Tuñacao (38-7-2, 18 KO’s) at the Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Ï’m conscious that Filipino fighters are strong. I know it’s going to be a tough fight”, said Calderón at a press conference held on Wednesday. Calderón also mentioned that the fight between Tuñacao countryman Manny Pacquiao and Marco Antonio Barrera make him aware of the quality of his opponent. In the co feature fight WBO Mini Flyweight champion Nelson Dieppa (22-1, 13 KO’s) will square off against # 1 challenger Hugo Cazares (19-3-1, 14 KO’s). A victory by Calderon and Dieppa could set up a potential clash between the 2 Puerto Rican champions. The event, which includes outings by former Olympians Juan Manuel López, Carlos Valcárcel, Alex De Jesús and Orlando Cruz is promoted by PR Best Boxing and will start at 7:30 PM.

I dont think straweight fights draw much interest to the HBO audience quite simply.

I for some reason thought you mentioned HBO, but anyway I dont think there is that much interest in the general boxing audience for the straweight division.
