View Full Version : Frazier vs. Jones, career dodge 11-29-2004, 05:23 PM Which fighter had the best career The Fix 11-29-2004, 05:46 PM jones, he accomplished more because he fought in different divisions. tony 11-30-2004, 08:26 AM I LOVE Smoking Joe, but Roy Jones Jr's record sparkles a lot more than Frazier's. Boxerdog 11-30-2004, 08:30 AM It "sparkles" more because of the huge number of janitors and window-washers on it. foremanfan 11-30-2004, 11:00 AM I think Jones his career is well padded with some patsies but I think any guy that moves through the weights deserves a little more respect. Frasier however did fight Ali and put up some great fights Norton did as well but their achievements inring don't quite match Jones. P@pasmurf 11-30-2004, 12:24 PM Frazier, if nly because he beat ali jabsRstiff 11-30-2004, 12:32 PM What makes one's boxing career better than another's ? Money ? Edge to Jones Accomplishment ? Tough...Jones dominated several solid foes through a # of weight classes. Frazier was a legend in the greatest era in heavyweight history In the biggest fight of all time....Frazier won, in an amazing fight. Who took less punishment ? Jones, by a mile. Who had more balls ? NOBODY had more balls than Frazier. Jones was knocked unconscious by two guys, nowhere in the league of the two who TKO'd Frazier (Ali, Foreman). Jones had way more natural talent....Frazier was more exciting. Jones will have a lucrative future beyond, & through, boxing. Frazier will forever be one of the most BELOVED warriors the game has ever produced. TAKE YOUR PICK. |
