The thing about MMA is that everybody implements different aspects of MA, I have yet to find 2 gyms with the same workouts or routines.

But, basically you can do your stand up training, grappling and conditioning.

I, for example do boxing twice a week, grappling 3 times a week(usually after boxing) and muay thai.
There are slight differences like if I was to to spar under MMA rules I wouldn't sit too much in my punches 'cause of takedowns.

The best thing you can do is find an Academy or Gym around your area and give it a try 99% of places will give one or two free classes.

Where are you from, there is probably some training facilitys in your area. A straight boxer wont last, you're gonna need to learn wrestling, submissions, and muay thai or kickboxing at the very least. Let me know where you live and I'll find an acadamy in your area....
