View Full Version : Hasim Rahman vs. Joe Frazier jack_the_rippuh 04-27-2005, 01:37 PM Who wins this fight? Shaolin Bushido 04-27-2005, 01:55 PM Joe by "Exploding Fist" technique X3 upside Rahman's gourd! 1Rd. Shaolin Bushido 04-27-2005, 01:56 PM Left Hook Lethality! M26 04-27-2005, 02:29 PM Frazier all the way. KO inside of five rounds. Rahman does not have the tools to survive the attacking "Smokin´ Joe". jabsRstiff 04-27-2005, 02:32 PM Frazier is in a whole other league than Hasim Rahman. Frazier's left hooks wreak havoc on Hasim's slow-motion ass... Frazier in 5. jack_the_rippuh 04-27-2005, 04:22 PM What about Rahman's size advantage? I haven't seen that much of Joe Frazier outside of his fights with Foreman and a mixed clip of his fights with Ali, but does anyone think Rahman's size, jab, and his heavy right hand will give him any kind of hope against Frazier? bigrealmike 04-27-2005, 05:19 PM Joe Frazier was much better than Rahman, after all. abdiel2k3 04-27-2005, 05:21 PM lewis opened rock up for the right with a left hook frazier would end it with that forst hook frazier KO M26 04-27-2005, 05:46 PM What about Rahman's size advantage? I haven't seen that much of Joe Frazier outside of his fights with Foreman and a mixed clip of his fights with Ali, but does anyone think Rahman's size, jab, and his heavy right hand will give him any kind of hope against Frazier? Rahmans right hand could maybe hurt Frazier early on. Frazier took a few rounds to really start smokin´. How ever, Frazier would not get knocked out. Rahmans size wouldn´t make too much of a difference. Frazier actually liked facing bigger foes and, like he said, "chop em down". Frazier would bob and weave, going in under Rahmans jab and find an opening for that famous left hook of his. In my honest opinion, there is just no way Rahman wins this one. Kid Achilles 04-27-2005, 05:53 PM Frazier was overall such a better fighter in almost every capacity. I'd give Rahman the advantage in strength and also the obvious height and reach. That's it. He'd be nothing more than a half decent workout for Smokin' Joe. KO in round 6 or 7. jabsRstiff 04-28-2005, 08:27 AM Remember something when matching Frazier up with today's big boys, & using his fights with foreman as a way to break down the matches: No matter how big these guys are....NONE of them are as physically strong or as powerful as was the Foreman who mopped up Frazier. None of them had George's jab, or his awesome uppercuts, either. Whole different ballgame. Rahman ain't George Foreman. Could anyone see George getting launched through the ropes by Oleg Maskaev ? Imira 04-28-2005, 08:30 PM Absolutely, Jabs! Boxing has never seen a puncher like Foreman and if you look at Frazier's record, the only way to beat him was to be a great fighter. Period. Frazier KO 7 Foreman 04-29-2005, 02:06 AM Rahman, nor any of todays other "champs" have any business even being mentioned in the same breath as Frazier. Smokin' Joe flat out knocks out the lot of them. vBulletin® v3.7.1, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
