After Barrera, Tyson, DLH, Jones, who do you wish to see next on the upset list?

I think I want to see Toney upset just for kicks. Let's listen how he talks after a KO loss.

Probably one or more of the fighters who are fighting next weekend.

I have a feeling it will be little K, though I don't know that I would call it that great an upset. If he can fight at a somewhat fast pace while conserving his energy he should probably win handily.

Ouma/Phillips I think Phillips will win. Ouma hasn't looked too good of late and Phillips is getting older and the need to leave a mark on boxing is greater in him.

I don't think Syd Vanderpool has what it takes to take out Lacy, so if he did, I think it would be the biggest upset next week.

I like Verno Phillips in that fight, In my opinion Phillips/Ouma has just as much talent as Wright/Mosley.

I'd love to see Wladamir Klitchko get knocked out, it will take one heck of a lucky shot from Williamson to beat him. It can though, with Wlads questionable defense.

James losing to Byrd Vitali Ruiz wouldn't be an upset...I would be interested in seeing what he'd say though.

given recent history, though, would it be considered much of an upset?

Ey, how come Klitchko is wanted in the upset list? Looks like the boxing world wants to have their champions young.

Nope, it will be Pac.
But then again, Pac is just a newbie so he has time to recover.

Trinidad will be retired again, so there's that to look forward to. :)

I think Trinidad made a mistake by going right after Mayorga, i believe he did it for the wrong reasons (Mayorga's last 2 fights). I think he will pay for that. Klitschko will likely annihilate Willaimson much like the way Mesi took care of him. WHere is Jirov?

Hey if Morales loses to PACQUIAO that's an upset but if Pacquiao loses to Morales that's not an upset, Morales is occupying a higher slot in the p4p list. :D

But what about Morales losing to MAB? I'll consider that an upset of sort because Morales is more established and has a higher stature than MAB now.

I meant an upset to his packs of rabid fans.

There is no way in hell MAB can beat Morales now.
He is old, worn out, and nothing at all like he used to be.
Morales and Pac took the fight out of him.

:D :D :D As MAB was saying he is a STUBORN fighter . . . I also believe that it's gonna be hard for MAB to defeat Morales at present . . . but as you guys were saying UPSET . . . UPSET . . . Although MAB has the ability to upset Morales, I don't think he will. Morales is too damn good right now but who knows people are going ape**** with all of these upsets now. Even Pac could possibly eek out a win against El Terrible. :D

The Morales fights took a lot out of Barrera.
If he had anything left for Morales it was beaten out of him by Pac.
The fight will be boring and it will be an easy win for Morales.

Did Barrera look the same after Morales?
Did he look as good against Pac like he did Morales?
Barrera looked old and tired in the Pac match, like he just didn't care anymore.
Anything that was left in Barrera was beaten out by Pac.
So Barrera is nothing but an easy win for Morales now.

Did you watch their first fight? In addition to being one of the greatest fights I've ever seen it was all out war. The 2nd wasn't even close to the first but it had it's flashes. Morales took a lot out of Barrera...just like he'll take a lot out of any other fighter who makes the conscious decision to fight him.

I say it's easy because I think that although MAB knows he's not what he used to be, he will still try to stand and trade with Morales.
He can't do that anymore and will be laid out if he tries.

You still haven't answered my question. Wtf is it?

I thought he even squeeked out a win in the first fight. And so did many.

Also, did you see the first 2 rounds of MAB-PAC?? MAB was the agressor and won the first round. He stuck to the same gameplan in round 2 till he just got outpunched by the faster more accurate Pac. I mean MAB just don't break down like that in 3 rounds.

So again WTF ID IT THAT HE LOST OR WAS TAKEN AWAY FROM HIM???

Did you not see Oldgringo's post?
Although he did trade with Morales in both fights, it took alot out of him.
Like what happened with Ali and Foreman.
Ali took all of Foreman's shots and came back with some of his own.
But look at Ali now.
MAB cannot win against Morales now.
He can probably manage enough for one or two rounds then that's it.

listen if you ain't gonna tell me what he lost then I'll just stop asking lol.

Anyweyz, that don't convince me. MAB was always been centered and focused and I don't think anything was taken away from him after his encounter with Morales. The guy had 8 wins straight: handed Hamed his first loss, won over Tapia and ya Morales lol(arguable). Knocked out Kelley. Again, I think he was just fine. Pac just beat him convincingly.

I do agree however that Morales will likely run over him even if the stubborn warrior of MAB will try to make a stand.

I don't think any of those guys (with the exception of Pac) came at MAB as hard as Morales did.
MAB lost some heart, power, and some of the other skills he has or had.
MAB can't stand and trade with Morales now.
He will be taken out if he does.
Either way, I'm glad that it will be an easy and fast win for Morales.
As soon as he's done with MAB he can move onto Pac.
The fight everyone really wants to see.

I just think Morales and yeah Pacquiao are better than MAB. Simple as that. Not that he lost anything cuz he wouldn't have been able to win over those guys. Just the Hamed fight should be proof enough. He schooled that grasshopper for a boxerwhen he was the man.

And yah, next year, I definately see the featherweight division cooking up mad matchups. Pac's gonna have a hell of a schedule. But ****ing****, Manny don't have an opponent yet and he's suppose to be fighting soon lol.

No doubt Morales and Pac could beat MAB anytime.
But it does look like they took alot out of him.

I think Pac is going to be the king of the featherweights once Morales moves up.
Hopefully Pac can get more fights, I feel bad for the guy.
He's getting ****ed left and right.
Good thing Morales still wants him.

Pac just need one belt to get the wheels rolling. Then we'll be talking. If he beats Morales though, he'd be in limbo in terms of which weight class to campaign in. Featherweight is optimum but lightweight is a futur possibility. Juarez and Guzman should be killer match ups.

Morales at 135 would have a lot of success. Honestly, other than Corrales or JLC I see no one else giving Morales any trouble. Maybe PBF but he's suppose to move up I think. So that sucks , but maybe they'll still fight.

Well it seems like El Terrible can't get Pac off his mind right now coz he thinks...

1) Pac is his ultimate measuring stick for a pressure fighter.
2) The press loves throwing Pac's name on him.

Well i THINK that notion is mutual Fistfest . . . Pac can't get Morales off his mind too.

It's because HBO put that in Pac's head. Morales seems to be Pac's ultimate test for him to be fully accepted and regarded as a legitimate p4p fighter. ;)

an upset in a way, yes, but let me add that barrera prevailed in one of their encounters in the past! but if what you said that morales has a higher stature than MAB now is true, in what extent? they are both popular that's all i can say. an upset in a way because morales is expected to win based on his performance recently, his win-loss percentage, his health, his work rate! not on stature because these two boxers are even in that area.
