It appears that Condom Depot has been banned from both UFC and WEC by Zuffa

From an e-mail advertisement signed as from Jennifer Amato

Dana White Took Food From The Mouths of Our Sponsored Fighters Just In Time For Christmas! Sorry Spencer, Josh, Gabe, Jake and everyone else...
We have been notified that we have been Banned From the UFC and WEC!
We have provided fighters 100's of thousands of dollars DIRECTLY over the last 2 years but can no longer do so! Not to mention word came down during AIDS awareness month!! UFC a Classy Organization runned by an even Classier Guy.

Say what you will about how much you love/hate the advertisements for things like Condom Depot on your favorite fighter's shorts, but it does help pay their bills and allow them to continue training MMA full time.

So what does everyone think? Is this going to be a part of a move to further reduce the number of "questionable" sponsors, or just another example of the pick and choose removal of various other sponsors and clothing lines over the past year?

at least in MMA the fights the fans want to see usually get made. it still sucks though

dana pulling another sponsor? not surprising

** it is extra money for the fighters, but in regards to condomdepot IMO kinda trashy to have that on the fighters shorts

but it is a sponsor/company name

Why do people **** on Condom Depot? They provide a product that every person you've ever known has used or will use. They don't promote themselves in a trashy way either.

I don't know why the UFC chooses to ban sponsors either. Their mid and low tiered fighters don't make a ****ing thing. I haven't even finished my degree yet and I make more than their fighters do.

usually if a guy was sponsored by condom depot, he won his fight.

What is trashy about practicing safe sex?

I dunno, it's still pretty trashy. It promotes safe sex, but also subliminally promotes fornication. On classy terms, that's not very classy.

So in a way it's good, but it is making UFC fighters look like clowns.

i don't see the problem here, everything in our society promotes fornication... ever seen a lady gaga video. i'd be thinking about fornicating anyway without seeing condom depot stickers, it's trashy to get STD's, not protect dicks and cunts from them. what's trashier than an unwanted pregnancy?

Somehow I don't think the same crowd that is offended by condoms being advertised in the mainstream is the same group that watches two tattooed muscle freaks beat each other half to death in a cage, but that's just me........

^ hey not all MMA fighters have tattoos, way to generalise (but an accurate one none the less)

anyway, for the record so I can better explain myself advertising condoms doesn't offend me. I just feel that in regards to the fight world, advertising condoms feel IMO out of place. especially when you compare it to the other sponsors

such as an energy drink, or proteins, or suppliment suppliments or clothing companies
