It seems like yesterday that JL Castillo was stepping in the ring with Julio Diaz and it seems like last week that he was fighting Casamayor.

This has been an amazing schedule this guy has been keeping and with the quality of opposition he has been facing he should be every boxingscene members idol.

Enjoy this while it lasts, champions just don't do this anymore.

Here is too Castillo taking Corrales's head off!

I second that. Nothing special man. He could fight Diaz, Lazcano, Corrales, and Casamayor on the same night and beat them all. He is simply that much better than all four, and is one of the best fighters in the world. He has the most stamina of any fighter, as well as one of the best chins. Not to mention he has sneaky power.

good call on JL being a fighting champion, 3 fights in 5 months, all vs. current/former champs, reminds me of Tyson's glory days....

too bad it's all coming to an end when Chico lands a left hook-straight right combo, Castillo is a stud but he's in deep H2O vs. Chico

Yep. As soon as Chico gets him in trouble and lands one of those straights, it'll be lights out.

I think it's Corrales who's going to be in the deep water when he faces Castillo.
