How soon will Jirov hold a HW belt?

I am eagerly waiting for the upcoming fight with Moorer.

I hope Jirov wins and then fights and KOs Rahman to become a mandatory contender. :D

Not soon enough for me... if a fight with Brewster could be made after he forces Moorer to lean back, he could easily take the WBO belt. trouble is, for all the belts except WBC he has to go through don king. i could see Jirov taking out Ruiz ( that would be beautiful ) and i think he could outpoint Byrd. i don't know if he';d be able to get inside on Vitali, though

Jirov will KO Moorer and then beat up on Toney. He'll then win his first title when he defeats Lamon Brewster for the WBO crown.

Yeah. The fight with Vitali would be tough. I would cheer for Jirov just slightly more than for Vitali. :)

moorer is only a paper obstacle, and only a fight with brewster would do well.........otherwise i believe all other champs will try to avcoid him.

I think if his punch output was as high as it was before he became a heavy he would have a chance against a lot of heavies. I just don't think he can handle the extra weight!

I also beleve he can take out "Lame" Lamon Brewster and "Boring" John Ruiz.
The question who will be the first big name to give he and Toney a chance?

i think jirov/moorer is a competitive match up.... i dont think jirov would beat ruiz or byrd, since he didnt beat mesi....

BTW, saw an ad for the jirov/moorer fight on FOX and they were advertsing it as a fight for the world heavyweight championship... WHAT CRAP!!! it must be for like the WBU title or something stupid like that... SHAMELESS!!

Is he going to beat up on Toney just like he did the first time around?

Don't be ridiculous. Toney clearly won the first fight. Since then he seems to have got better, while Jirov seems to be doing worse. Toney will win the rematch.

And don't try to make me out as some kinda hater. I love Jirov, but you're dreaming.

Brewster maybe, every other champ no chance in hell....

Jirov was exciting at cruiserweight and I think he should move back down to face braithwaite and mormeck, I dont like him at heavyweight he is to small and a fight with the winner of Tarver and Johnson is intriguing their is better matchups at light heavy and cruiser In my opinion though.

Even after Toney knocked Jirov down I still had Jirov up 3 pts as did HBO. It was a BS decision that most people forget about because it was the fight of the year. Even if Toney hadn't knocked him down he would've won on the scorecards...BULL****!

Jirov is past his prime. True, he put Mesi down 3 times in the final two rounds of their fight, but have we forgotten the previous 8 rounds of that fight? Jirov is simply put, ring worn. He hasn't shown his commitment to body punching that he used to, and hasn't shown any of the hand speed he had in the mid 90's. He'll probably stop Moorer in the 7th or 8th round, but so what?

HBO had it a draw. No way did Jirov win that fight
