Please do not try to kill Mr. Sakuraba bt matching him up with Silva again. He has done a lot for Pride and should be given a chance to retire with most of his brain still working. We all love Sakuraba and I personally would shed tears of joy if he could win the grand prix but let's save Sakuraba vs. Silva for the finals if they both make it.

i think there is a decent chance that thy would match up the guys from the same team in the next rounf so that they don't get a dance in the final.

The second rd will be truely sick! Fedor vs Cro-cop as the main event, they should have Kharitonov vs Nog again and Gardner vs Hunt.

Most people in this site love Sakuraba, and I am one of them. He was one of the greatest competitor I have ever seen in my life, but to think that he is top 5 would be retarded.

Sakuraba is always gonna be the man to me... you're always gonna read my posts saying "SAKU is God" because he was and he will always be, even though he is not the best fighter anymore. I respect that man, the way he gives his position in order to pull crazy ass subs is amazing. He was an innovator and there will never be another Saku.

The general feeling in these forums is that Saku deserves to go out without getting pounded by giants to entertain the japanese audience... I would never "rag" on most people when it comes to MMA as I think most of the ****ers in here know their **** (except Creed; Chubbs is just ****ing delirious and sucks ass). Like I never agree with Kaps, but I respect the man's opinion.

What I love about this place is that is nothing like Sherdog.

I don't love him. He's definitely respected like all fighters who don't otherwise earn scorn but I don't have any greater respect for him than say, Babalu.

He gets an inordinate amount of consideration from lots of guys all over the internet so it's all good. Maybe it was you that I recalled sorta supportin him in that thread with Kaps; I don't give a ****. I was kiddin.

As long as I can see Silva vs Igor I'm happy. I think they will set up Saku with Nakamura to ensure a Japanese guy in the semi-finals. Happens every time haven't you guys learned?

This promises at least one japanese fighter in the final 4 and a good chance for 3 BTT vs Chute Box on the final card. (both semis and the final).

I think its going to end up being Nogueira vs Silva with little Nogueira taking the title.

That really pisses me off, I really don't see how anybody would want to see another Sak vs Silva fight. Any true MMA fan would know the outcome. I don't think I will ever understand those fans. I like Sak but I don't see him beating anyone left except for Nak And maybe Alistar.

I guess there is a chance that Sakuraba could beat Silva. It's not impossible, just very highly unlikely that Sakuraba could win. Who knows, Sakuraba could catch him in a sub or something. I'd like to see it, anyways.

Yes ofcourse, but I wouldn't hold your breath. **** man, I really wanted to see Sak win their second fight, If he had pulled gaurd when he had the guillotine he wouldn't have been slammed, I think that was sunk in to. Still I remain my opinion that it would be another slaughter.
