The rotator cuff can be a very nagging injury. Forrest os getting older and he hasn't had the chance to make the mark he's capable of. I hope he heals up.

Forrest Going Under Knife Again, Out Till May!
By G. Leon

November 27, 2004 - Former welterweight champion Vernon "The Viper" Forrest with some bad news. Forrest, who was originally hoping for an early 2005 return, said he will undergo a second rotator cuff operation (to be performed by a different surgeon) that will keep him sidelined until May 2005. The initial operation performed on Forrest was far from successful. "When I was rehabbing the arm, and I followed the schedule I was given to perfection, it still felt the same. The pain was the same." After receiving a second and third opinion, Forrest learned that his shoulder hadn't recovered properly and there was nerve damage that needs to be repaired. Forrest will undergo the surgery later this week, will continue to keep you updated but until then,

they had already established themselves in boxing
vernon has done anything but that
his best perforance against mosley is now overshadowed by winkys 2 decisive victorys over shane
takes a bit of the luster from Forrest best vistorys

and lets not forget his 2 fights against Mayo
seems like he is just goin to be one of boxings many what could have been?

hope he comes back
but its been so long and he was ko'd and lost a ud to mayo, who the hell loses a 12rd fight to mayo, that i just dont see him making any sort of serious bid for a title

Thats too bad. I like Vernon and was hoping to see him fight again soon. If Toney can come back after a torn achilles, then I think Forest can make a comeback too.

It was over for Forrest when Mayorga clobbered him senseless twice. With a bum shoulder, its over.
