The evander of hiphop. He needs to retire i think alot of people are just looking at him as a joke, he just doesn't look right. He hangs around a bar over here in Phx and people just look at him as a joke. Well theres a good amount of people that think DMX fell off a while ago, I personally have liked almost every song hes been puttin out. I wonder if some of the people that hate on him can name 5 songs that hes put out in the last year other then these three...some people might look at this and say "well if i cant name 5 songs, hes clearly not making any good music at this point" but since we got so many people that like underground music, that is not valid to me. It seems like people on sohh like what hes doing...

I like DMX for trying to spread a good message about God. Sure hes imperfect, but we all are. Atleast hes trying to put some positive songs out too instead of all negative songs.

Its funny how DMX's bipolar disorder is shown through his music...hes either making songs about Jesus or hes making songs about killing, ****in *****es, and gay double entendre's....DMX might be the king of gay double entendre's. They say Eminem is up there with him.

I lost because I have a different opinion, and hold a legend like DMX to a higher standard? He was my ****ing hero from It's dark and hell is hot to the Great Depression, after that, is was all downhill, in terms of music quality. I had an It's Dark and Hell is hot poster/t-shirt/and cd. Still got the cd, and it's STILL one of my top 20 favorite albums of all-time. I hold him to a higher standard, the standard he set for himself with 3 straight classics (it's dark, flesh of my flesh, and then there was x). I have bought EVERY SINGLE ONE of his albums. Grand Champ was terrible, but I still got it, Year of the Dog again was even worse, still got it. I lost? yeah, ok.

Thats not why u lost...u lost when your parents gave birth to you. Im just playin, I dont mind hating...I actually love it. But u gotta listen to the music before u can hate. But if u didnt like Grand Champ or Year of the Dog Again, then u probably wont like his new songs so....consider yourself very lucky, Im gonna give u a pass this time lol. What your sayin reminds me alot of how people view mobb deep...its like they had 2 different careers. They were loved by many from Juvenile Hell to HNIC...and then when Infamy dropped, its like they were different rappers. They switched up their style and alotta people couldnt listen to them anymore...I think if Mobb Deep had never made music before 2001, rap fans probably woulda liked Infamy a little more. But it is what it is, and im guessin u dont like X anymore because u got tired of him rhyming the same words on some of his songs, and the dog comparisons. It hasnt got old with me, but im not hating...I feel u (no homo). For the record, i dont really have anything against u...the sig is more for shock purposes then anything else. U did come into my diplomats appreciation thread and hate, but i dont really care. I go into threads all the time and hate myself. Like I said, I love hating and I love haters. Exactly...95% of rappers are contradictions, but X is real...he really is living 2 different lifestyles. I dont think hes ashamed of it, deep down inside of him i think he knows hes gotta stop doing some of the things that he does and i hope he does as he gets older. And someday hopefully he can be an influence to other manic depressives and people that have drug problems.

I think DMX will eventually get it together. i think hes seems to be doing a little better recently.

i get it, fact:i pattern my life after the Player Hater's Ball skit from Chappelle's Show. "why don't you take that cane and beat whoever made that suit to death". I loved and still do love Infamy though. Burn is top 5 mobb deep beat material.
