I know alot of you guys are probably gonna think I'm a dumbass......but I still think miguel cotto is a prospect who could be a future hall of famer.....I think he has all the tools to be a great champion....just dont think 140 is gonna be his weight....he will move up in a bout a year.....and I think by next year he will make a name for himself as oine of the best fighters in his division........who are some of your prospects?

Kelly "the ghost" Pavlik of Youngstown Ohio. He is fighting Ike Quartey in June, I predict him to knock Quartey out and that will be his first step toward becoming a hall of fame figher, to knock out a legend like Quartey.

I seen one of pavlik highlight ko's but didnt see enough to determine whether or not he wa good......it almost looked like hewas toying with the guy before he kicked his ass....

If you are gonna say Cotto then I will have to say Cotto and Taylor.
I'm just not sure that either should be considered "prospects" anymore. I'd call both bona fide contenders.

I would say Taylor but he is past "prospect" mode as Cotto SHOULD be.

Pavlik is a good choice. Perhaps, (not 100%) Peter is a possibility.

I thought that Kermit Cintrón had the potential to be the 2nd coming of Thomas Hearns at welter but I guess I was wrong. I'll have to wait and see if he can return.

I don't think that it's a dumbass thing at all!... I too think that Miguel Cotto has got all the tools to go on to be a great!

I think people are writing him off WAY TOO early just coz' he got tagged by an over hand right from Corley... What's important is the way he dealt with the situation, he won the fight, and I believe that fight will only make him stronger!

He know's now that he's not invinsible... And he'll have a more calculated approach to attacking.
