just turned 5 two weeks ago, but I have tried training him since he was 2,my 18 month old I dont even have to try,he gets all crazy when a fight comes on tv and when I play fight night, he grabs a controller and pretends to play, he grabs the boxing gloves and starts hitting things :boxing:

I think your son needs to bulk up just a little more, then hes ready to fight the pros :boxing:

thanks to all,yeah the gym I use to go to had training for 5 year old but no hitting the punching bag or fighting (sparring) untill they were 8,well now they say no training untill they are 8, the only thing I could do if I wanted to ,is take him to a kicking boxing school not certify by the state or I can just continue to do what I am doing, I have put him to sparr with his other cousins, one 4 year old (close to the same age as my son) and the other 6 (About 1.5 yrs older than my son), which when you are a kid,those 6 mos to a year made a big differance. Well my sone beats up on the 4 year ole,while th 6 year old gave my son his first bloody nose but my son got in his shots and rocked the 6 year old

Talk about starting early. My father didn't make me work out till I was about 10.

pretty good...work on his reflexes...i noticed when you swung at him, he was slow to dodge it.

u should only have him spar with older, bigger kids. he'll beat the **** out of anyone his age. RJJ's dad put young Roy in there with bigger kids, it forced him to develop mad skills...and most of all teach him to go to Frank the Bunny for guidance
