Asher Roth to Appear on E!News to talk about new "Gay Lifestyle"

Rapper Asher Roth will appear on E!News during the Christmas Holiday celebration to talk about his recent "coming out of the closet". Asher was recently at a Gay Rights Parade with Lady Gaga, American Idol Winner, Clay Aiken, Blink 182, and REM lead man Michael Stipe.
Asher Roth, who came out of the closet last week, is making his first appearance on E!News this week.

Asher, who was dropped from SRC Records, is currently the only major hip hop star that has admitted he is a "gay rapper".

He admitted that he was one of the gay rappers mentioned in MTV's Terrance Dean's book. Terrance Dean posted the news on his blog, after he said he wasn't going to name names. He was very happy that Asher came out of the closet before he had to mention names.

Asher, who has been on numerous rally's and marches over the past year, really became visible in the gay community with American Idol winner, Clay Aiken.

Asher was recently at a Gay Rights Parade with Lady Gaga, American Idol Winner, Clay Aiken, Blink 182, and REM lead man Michael Stipe.

Besides Terrance Dean posting the news on his own blog, TMZ.com, and E!News all put out newsletters stating the good news about Asher Roth.

Asher is currently living in a "gay section" of New York and "loving life".

We wish Asher Roth the best, and it has been rumored that his next album has been picked up by an indie label.

yea lol u said it best when u said thats not a good look in such an anti gay music genre...i dont really hate him though, but i will say that i never at any point liked him. I did like a couple beats off his album. In reality, I am surprised...he seemed like the cool college kid that partied and ****ed alotta girls. Theres also alotta rumors going around right now about Slick Rick, a rapper that I do like alot (no homo). And now that we know this, I cant believe Beanie Sigel co-signed him.

I never checked for Roth really. Honestly when I saw that I love college song on MTV I thought it was one of those gimmick songs where they have a white guy rap as a joke. Then later I realized that he was a real artist lmao.

I wouldn't be surprised if this kid is gay. But the article says that TMZ.com had reported this, but I watch their article's daily and don't remember seeing this. I just did a search on their site and can't find it either. So I'm not 100% that this isn't a rumor.

I couldn't care less if he was gay. Still a solid lyricist. Still gonna listen and this is still fake, regardless.

Be that as it may, if he came out, I wouldn't care. I wouldn't be into his 'gay themed songs', much like I'm not into women singing about men, but I'd search thru those songs to find songs like His Dreams and what have you.
