We all love this style of musc. But theres things that turn us off...what are they? for me

Arguing over hip hop
fake hip hop beefs
over analyzing hip hop
hip hop message boards (LOL. I'm into deep now, I cant leave)

I want to say that all the things I hate are things i'm guilty of....

once again. I'm guilty of this. so you could say I hate myself as a hip hop fan.

I hate pretty much everything about mainstream hip hop. The music itself, the cliched videos, the fact that the verses require no actual talent to right, the whole money image, the fact that most rappers are like walking talking parodies etc. Thankfully I see the demise of this **** fairly shortly as the public can only stay interested in the same old **** for so long. BTW I am a big hip hop fan.

I dont hate 2pac, but Killa Right...I wouldnt be so quick to say he wasnt gay, not that i care. I dont know what happened to him in prison, but i do know theres some suspect pictures of him. Again, that doesnt matter to me, im just sayin...I personally think hes top 3 all time.

And i know i said i hate haters in my OG post but like Martin I wazz jus playin. I love haters, i think they are hilarious. Even stans are too, although they can be annoying at times. It depends on the type of stanning thats being done...When its obvious stannin and things that are being said dont even make sense, thats funny to me. Nas has some of the funniest haters on the internet.

And i think swagger has been around for a while in music, Big Daddy Kane had alotta swagger back in the late 80's...the problem is that swagger has too much significance when it comes to the young fans.

True...I agree with that. Although i think with the examples that Killa Right listed, half the people that do that stuff are shock posting like myself lol. I dont hate 2pac, Nas, or jay-Z...some people on sohh might think i do, others can tell that im just playin.

*EDIT*

I think its alot worse with sports then it is with rap, people that hate athletes sound alot more serious and passionate with their hate then people that hate rappers.

you are a gangsta?

No but im not a nerd....lol just playin

I guess that type of raps just not for me...theres some rappers that are nice, but for some reason I just dont like them...sometimes it can be the voice. And i know some people dont give a **** what a rappers voice sounds like but it makes a difference with me (no homo)....and apparently Guru too, he did have a song called "Mostly Tha Voice" off Hard to Earn. Another example would be Eminem....i would never be one to deny the rhyme skills, but not everything is for everyone. Maxico has **** load of dope rappers also the in U.S. you just fell in a misconception by listening to lil rob, and mr. criminal, thats equivalent to me listening to soulja boy and plies and claim all U.S. morenos are weak ass rappers.

yeah they made their own ****, plus when they want to, Pato and Fermin create sick ass rhyme schemes.

I thought about this hard and realized theres only one thing I hate about Hip Hop...and thats ignorance. Now im not talkin about rappers rapping in an ignorant way, im talkin mostly about ignorance from the fans. Ignorance explains everything...which is why i love that word so much.

I hate its lack of originality and progression. Something becomes a hot topic in a song then every mother ****er out there raps about it.

There are few MC’s who dare to be different. I’m not a fan of the nerd raps either but at least they’re different. Everyone wants to rap about how great and original they are but the irony is that EVRYONE raps about that ****.

I hate that good rappers will put out 2 or 3 good albums then just hang it up. There are very few mainstream rappers that have relevant albums after their 2nd or 3rd.

I hate that a majority of rappers sell out. I can’t say that given the chance I wouldn’t. But you’re talking about something that’s bigger then one MC. If everyone takes the radio play and makes a song for the clubs, or about girls then over time your music loses respect because that’s what everyone expects.

Finally the fans. Beefs are good for sales and making people money that’s it! Nothing gets settled in a hip hop beef. Both camps make money, the label makes money and once it’s done no one gives a ****! All that is fueled by the fans who want to see something more. Stop feeding into the **** and there won’t be ****!

I could think of some more, but I’d just like to say that I’m a huge fan of hip hop as a music form, but as a business it’s garbage, run by the idiots, who control idiots, to feed the idiot masses.

i love everything about real hip hop. authentic hip hop.
everything that cheezes me is not hip hop. it's fake hip hop. doesn't even belong in the same category.
