Golota has headlined at the Garden, so that's out.....

Casamaya-headbutt has headlined at Mandalay, so that's out even tho it's the best casino on the planet (I got married there :) )....

I'd have to go with Staples right now, if we're basing this on the worst headliners at that respective venue....Morales-Espadas 2 was the smallest event that Staples has hosted, and that was still a sweet KO with a decent undercard....plus you had sell-outs for Mosley-Oscar and Roy-Julio, plus the Lewis-Klitschko rumble which I proudly attended with Pops for his 45th B-day (once again I'm biased, but WTF I thin kStaples is the place 2 be these days)

They are all pretty big venues, I dont know if any of them are any better than the other. I voted for MSG only because of the tradition of big fights that have been held in MSG.

I will go for Madison Square Garden, cause a lot of historic fights took place there.

#1 is MSG, it's not even close. It's got history and they still hold big fights there to this day.

#2 is MGM Grand. MGM gets all the biggest fights in Vegas.

Caesars gets nothing worth noting anymore and haven't for a long time. It used to be THE venue for boxing back in the 80's, but what was the last big fight they had? It's been forever since they've had a big fight there.

Mandalay Bay is still too new to be considered a mecca for boxing and when there's a really big fight in Vegas MGM usually gets it.

The Staples Center is also still far too new to be considered in the same category as MSG and MGM.

As far as the Pyramid in Memphis is concerned, I still wonder why anyone would hold a big fight there, am I missing something?

I agree Madison Square Garden is the best to fight due to the historical past of that arena.

They should start throwing MORE fights at Caesars Palace
I mean like more big fights!
I love the MGM grand to though
I watched Barrera-Morales III there

For the best stadium this very momeny is Arco Arena
cuz if they have big fights there(which they won't until chico comes back which i hope we will) it will be the best Arena

lol I'm VERY biased

but i'd have to say at this time right now it's MGM or MSG

In history, it's caesars palace or MSG

The only reason Tyson/Lewis was held in Memphis is because Nevada wouldn't grant Tyson a license to box there, neither would New York State or New Jersey.
That's the only reason it was held in Memphis, Tyson can only get a license to box in states that are not as vigilant when it comes to licensing a boxer, places like like Kentucky, Tennesee etc.
