Get the **** out of here with that list. The fact that you put "Encore" on there says it all. That album was absolute TRASH. I actually like most of the albums on this list personally and bump them, but aside from Marshall Mathers LP, Stankonia and maybe College Dropout/Get Rich, this list is faulty.

(I dont fn care if he does name drop. That just makes him that much more entertaining cuz he aint afraid to call anybody out. Game goes hard! All his albums are lyrical homicide! Kinda scared the new one might be more pop-ish because hes "changin things up." hope not!
Also loved most of Redman's albums, Method man, and enjoyed any other album by Kanye, Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Nas, and Ludacris. Some bad mofo's!
dde91 12-15-2009, 04:42 PM Well all i know is that The Game-The Documentary should be up there with honorable mention or top ten. The way he Brought Air back in the west Coast with a new generation was Crazy when he first came out.

Nahhh i respect those choices but i dont think either one of them are necessities. Props for sayin F&L over the Cool though, i thought i was the only one that liked F&L better.
And I think the Eminem Show had more timeless songs on it, Eminem has made a countless number of songs throughout his career that have very little replay value despite his amazing flow and lyrics.
Not that many great albums to choose from .......I go supreme clientel hands down
Its amazing how many more classics the 90's had then the 2000's, but if i had to pick one album that I think is the best from this decade...I would go with Supreme Clientele as well, its not even my favorite but the impact it had, the production on it, and Ghosts lyrics...plus the other clans members.

I disagree. If you look at the first post of the thread, i've listed many albums i consider great. It's hard to narrow it down to 10, but there are plenty great albums from this decade, some i'd consider classic's.
The 00's have not been as strong as the 90's, but i don't think hip hop will ever be the same as that era, especially when you consider the diverse styles that came from the early 90's to the more mainstream sound of the late 90's.

Some of my favorite albums all-time were released in the last 10 years. Great music is still being recorded and released.
