Wow a girl that know her boxing, Felix Savon is perhaps the greatest boxer that the pro circuit will never see. I think he was offered 1 million to fight Tyson on his hay days and he turned it down to stay in the olimpics.

Got accepted to University in Electrical engineering on condition that I pass my courses. I'm throwing the towel on Calculus 2 tonight so that acceptance goes kaput. Thinking of redoing it during the summer. I'll ask to be accepted as an "independant student" and just do credit courses, then start engineering program maybe next year (I should have been starting this August, stupid calculus :mad: )

Long story short, school's **** :(

Damn that sucks....Anyways..I myself passed math by the skin of my teeth in highschool. As in 75% final grade (74% is failing). i teach miami style , cuban style , but i can tell you that if youre a beginner you should keep the follower hand in yours , to lead to the other side which is the goal of the cross body lead.

try to master the open break , it s very important in salsa NY style.

Nice, now I know. I love salsa, such a sexy spicy dance. Rythm is great, you can really let yourself go and the aura it emits off of someone who knows how to move is insane. Always wanted to learn it and it's only lately that I've gotten a chance to. I figure it's a lethal weapon in clubs :D Been attending "Arthur Murray" school here in Mtl for a bit but now I'm concentrating on salsa/mambo. The footwork is relatively easy, it's the armwork that I find difficult. Open break isn't hard, my main problem is that I ain't alligned with the wall when I do CBL's on fast music and this cuban motion takes a lil getting to use to for men or maybe it's just my stiff hips hahaha

So what's the difference between the Miami style and New York style? Is one still compatible with the other? Lot of questions eh? lol sorry.

the cuban motion will come alone , just try to have a good footwork.

miamistyle is cuban , it is dance by moving the lady around you , lot of circular movement , and it s sometimes dance in group , it s called a RUEDA.

NY style is dance in line , as you learned it , and you start all the turns with open break .

you can mix both a little , but not too much you may mislead the lady , which is the worst that can happen during a dance.
