I just want to come on and say Hi. I have been very busy on my future. It looks very bright. But being a UFC fighter will not be my future. I have never been so embarssed in my life. I got put in the bleachers, asked to leave the octagon when Ivan won, a was not aloud back stage to get my bags. But its business to the UFC. Iam pushed in to a corner and wont be pushed anymore. I have done good for the UFC in every interview, fights, and just trying to push the UFC to mainstream. Now that iam not there Champ they can careless. i will make it with or without them. I have to look out for my self. I do want to thank them for everything. But its time to go on with my future. What is next for Tito? You all will know soon!!!!
I want to thank my fans for the support. Couldnt have done it without YOU!!!!!!!
Tito Ortiz

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Apparently, after Salaverry won as Tito, Barnett and some other AMC Pankration guys ran in the octagon to celebrate Tito was told by officials to get out of the octagon.

Kind of ****ed up, but at least he might end up in Pride. (highly unlikely)

Can anyone translate the part "I got put in the bleachers, asked to leave the octagon when Ivan won, a was not aloud back stage to get my bags"

Wonder if he's going WWF, Pride or Hollywood?

I've got mixed feelings about this one. I'm not a big fan of Tito, but that's a pretty ****ed up way to treat a guy who helped build your organization in a big way (assuming if what Tito is saying is all true, of course).

On second thought, all that **** might be true. I do remember watching Tito jump into the ring briefly after Ivan tea-bagged Riggs. He basically hugs Ivan, says a few words, then runs back out of the cage. I thought that was kind of weird for attention-whore Tito.

According to Tito, Pride has told him that they're only interested in booking him to fight while he's under contract with the UFC. That sounds a bit strange, and the truth is probably that he told them how much he wants per fight and they told him they weren't interested.

I don't know -- I think it's WWE, or The Surreal Life.

My only question is what would have Tito really done for the company if Chuck had gotten his shot when he deserved it? Im not saying Tito didnt help but they used Liddell to protect Tito's belt for like 2 years becasue Ortiz is a loud mouth and sold tickets.

I finally just saw the whole PPV today, and knowing what Tito said, I was watching for it. He made contact with Ivan twice (one hug and one slap on the ass), but I thought it was really weird that Rogan and Goldberg didn't even mention Tito's presence in the ring, the way they'd acknowledge any other (arguably) top fighter who ran in to congratulate him.

When he left, he was closely followed by a member of the show staff in a UFC t-shirt and headset, but that doesn't necessarily mean he was being escorted out.

You think Rogan and Goldberg were instructed to NOT mention Tito's presence, in the same way MLB broadcasts refuse to show fans running on the field?

That's just how it starts. Someone'll bump him, there'll be "punches" exchanged, and he'll end up choking them out. Next thing you know, Tito's signed for a tag match. He'll get to test the waters in TNA, and then it's the big call-up to VinceMcmahonLand.

I know plenty about the UFC I'm not too knowledgable on Pride but I'll get there someday. I know enough to know the first time I saw Tito Ortiz I thought he was an ******* and I hoped he would get a fist down his throat. I know Chuck deserved a chance to knock his teeth out way earlier than he did. Chuck is my favorite for sure mainly because my brother knows the guy personally but also because he fights hard, and usually doesn't talk unless it is warranted. I respect Randy and many other fighters but Tito is a typical ****** all talk and no talent in my eyes. If that means that I am ignorant about MMA then whatever dude but he's not going to pro wrestling BECAUSE of his great fighting skills....

Couldn't disagree more with King nutthugger about Liddel having a chance to KO Tito before he did. Tito was being very caustious, there was no chance. I don't even like Tito. That fight was dictated by a thumb in the eye. I think Liddel would have won anyway, but none the less in was the thumb that ended it.

As for the new fan thing, I agree with Kaps, and who the **** doesns't know who Saku is?

Saying Tito has no talent is ignorant. The dude was top of the class for a long time. He's beaten Vanderlei Silva who is the #1 LHW in the world, Evan Tanner UFC MW champ, Yuki Kondo who is king of pancrase, Ken Shamrock, Vitor Belfort, and many more....

Chuck would get a beating like he never got in his life. Vanderlei has fought 3x as many fights, against stronger opponents, and he KOed Rampage who made Chuck Liddell scream like a little ***** in last years GP twice. Check out the new LHW rankings thread, Hockeyfighter set a poll up at all the major MMA websites on the net. Out of 30 or so people who listed the rankings, Vanderlei Silva was ranked #1 on all but one list. I used to hate the guy, but I cant even deny his skill anymore....

He has never had any choice who Pride puts in front of him. It seems just in the past year that the guys he has asked for Pride seems to try to line them up for him and as you can see, he wants to fight the top opponets, even asking for HW's since he's running out of light-heavy's.

Wizard

I think Cro-cop could probably beat Silva, maybe even KO him. In their first Fight Cro-cop was worried about the ground, He now trains with a world champion BJJ guy and has almost unparalleled takedown defence.
It would be a war no doubt.

I think Fedor has to take cro cop down in their fight, he can hang standing for a while but Cro-cop would eventually KO him. It's going to be interesting to see if Fedor can throw him.

This is nothing against your comment, but against opinions in general. For like 2 years, all anybody ever wanted to see was Couture vs Silva, that's all that was talked about. Now Couture loses to Liddell, and its like he's been thrown in the garbage. Now all anyone wants to see is Liddell vs Silva. I just think its funny. Silva would ruin Liddell by the way.

I think Silva is a far superior fighter than Chuck Liddell, but so is Randy Couture. There is always that x-factor when Chuck Liddell fights that he may knock you out with one of his sloppy, slow, hard ass punches. Another thing to take into concideration is Silva and Chucks chin. Silva has been dropped a few times but always seems to recover quickly. Chuck has only been dropped in one fight I can recall and it didnt really seem to faze him. If Hunt couldnt KO Silva, I doubt Chuck will. Silva by Decision....

But you're forgeting the fact that Rampage had never been knocked out before in his career until Silva knocked him out cold. There's magic in those knees and I could see Chuck getting his first knockout loss just like Rampage.

Guy has an excellent point but I honestly think Silva beat Rampage badly because Silva got into his head. Silva had that fight won before they even stepped into the ring, much like Liddel vs Tito. If you can phase your opponent before the fight, you will win without throwing a punch.
